Also no, nothing of the sort. The game will still have bugs and content to be added after release. I don't think there has ever been a game that has been completely bug-free upon release.

Also regardless of the choices and direction mojang goes. Someone will always b unhappy

I'm not unhappy, no no no.
I'm just listing the facts of the things that arent complete.
If you think I'm unhappy, you must be reading some invisible text or see the eye doctor, all I made was a list.

In his defense, the way you bolded and caps-locked "make the minecraft community happy" did somewhat imply a lack of happiness.

You know somone's being too demanding when they say "Make the community happy".
People here will seriously LOOK for reasons to whine, and if they can't, they grab one out of the air.
Oh, and saying that Notch needs to add full on FEATURES before release is just BS. It's the full release here. Notch needs to do things that need to be done NOW.
What do I mean by that? Let's say that someone encounters a lighting glitch, terrain bug, etc. If it makes someone think "Is this intentional? Doesn't look like it", then it's something that needs to be fixed.

1- Play on Fast/ Tiny.
2- Already there, Notch just needs to make the dragon spawn when you enter the portal.
3- Done
4- Uh, could you list those?
5- I think you mean too many oceans, biomes not varied... Yeah I agree here.
6- Uh? We have a lot of features.
7- Like what modes? We got Survival, Creative and Hardcore. Notch didn't say about others.
8- Already enough
9- same
10- Agreed.
11- It will come soon.
12- ?
13- Each server has a capacity. Not Mojang's work.
14- Most people are happy.
15 and 16- Why did you skip these?
17- Same as number 6.
18- We got dungeons, mineshafts, strongholds and Nether fortresses.
I think for number 5 alone release should be delayed, though.

1. Jeb already indicated in the patching he's done since PR5 there was a major packet/ping storm between servers and clients. This probably contributed to this issue. I've noticed massive lag periodically, usually after being on a server for an extended period.
2. http://notch.tumblr.com/post/12551870085/inspiration-motivation-stress-and-abandonment (re: dragon boss. Guess which stage he's on now?)
3. The NPC's available now are a poor shadow of the promised feature, interactive entities. Incomplete and less interesting than chickens.
4. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Known_bugs/Version_1.9pre5 (how 'bout that for many bugs and glitches, genius?)
5. I think this also includes villages generating poorly (not cutting out space during generation) and mine shafts colliding with strongholds.
6. To be honest, I think Minecraft is pretty feature-lite. It offers open-ended creative building, which makes up for most of it, but once you've built all you want to build, what else is there to do? Kill a dragon.
7. No input on this one.
8. Lanterns, possibly more minecart detector tracks. Chairs. Proper tables. Colored glass. Inverted steps for buttresses. Things like that. Some of them were even promised.
9. In some cases, there might be too many (endermen *mutters*). Might be nice to have biome-specific critters more than just the mooshrooms. I mean, why not alligators in swamps, birds in forests, horses in plains? Minecraft lacks life.
10. Creative was such an afterthought :sad.gif: Taking out the day/night commands was just retarded, too. Creative should be able to be used to create custom maps, and have all blocks available for the purpose.
11. Notch will never add a proper modding API. His idea is to give out the source under NDA or some crap. That's not modding support, that's lazy, and the modding community is hurting for it.
12. It would be nice if the SMP and SSP behaved in identical ways within the programming. Having them two separate entities hurts Mojang's ability to do proper and easy support.
13. The resources required per user is pretty hefty, and I doubt it really has to be so high. When you can have an SQL server handle thousands of transactions a second and that same server has issues with a modest group of people on a MC server, something's wrong (that's speculation, but I don't think it'd be far off).
14. This isn't ever going to happen, but such things as TOGGLE-ABLE fog for lower levels and more user options may alleviate many problems with people bitching about things like the irrational 'void fog'.
17. Notch's entire beta period should have been adding content. Story elements, refining structures, things like that. He squandered it.
18. I've seen what some people have come up with for dungeons. They're way way way way way better than the first dungeon iteration. Strongholds are a fair equivalent now, but there's 3. ever. Why aren't there more? Nether fortresses are horribly done :sad.gif:
Wanna know why the Minecraft Community is never going to be happy?
Because a lot of people on the 1.9 discussion seem like whiny, spoiled brats.
Whiny spoiled brats who just want something to complain about. "Wahh, Daddy won't buy me an iPhone 4 and Notch won't give me *insert a bazillion things here*!!!!!"
Yeah.
So pretty much check before you make a list.
And don't bold something on a list that's never going to happen unless Notch makes an emotion control chip for you to wear.
Edit:
Things could be done, yeah.
But wasn't Minecraft supposed to be something that wasn't going to have progress stopped even after the full release?

WHat he said had nothing to do with the minecraft community, it was about the progress of the game

Yea, that's been the official statement for awhile on the Mod API.
I personally doubt it will even be out at Minecon.
