To preface, this is not about which enchantment to select, it is about selecting a desired level to cast
A lot of people are complaining about selecting a desired level to cast, and today I thought that I was going to be joining them. I had less than half durability left on a pick, and instead of repairing, I decided to use my current 2 levels instead. I have my table set up like this:
To maximize levels to choose from, and i took nearly five minutes of clicking to get a level 2 enchantment(I got unbreaking I so it didn't feel completely wasted)
Soon after this I realized that there is a very simple way to eliminate the higher level enchantments with very little work. All you need to do is simply move the table!

I haven't messed around with the setups too much, with the top alternative the highest I saw was 17(I think), and with the bottom it was 8 or 9.
This helps in no way to increase the occurrence of higher level enchantments, but it does eliminate them for when you just want a simple one, but don't want to completely remodel the furniture.
Reasonable solution to the problem... just don't accidentally hit your enchantment table with anything other than a pick axe when moving it you won't be very pleased with the result.

When no one was looking, the Endermen took forty blocks.
They took 40 blocks. That’s as many as four tens. And that’s horrible.

I knew about that before trying anything, but with my fortune pick and finding more diamond veins than usual, replacing wouldn't be that bad

That is pretty complicated though, and I haven't found any chunks that spawns slime, so no sticky pistons in my case
