Didn't Notch say that his name would be Jean? It was clearly a joke, but i think Jean would be a cool name. All my favorite Frech people are named Jean. Jean Fancois, Jean Valjean, Jean Prouvaire, etc.
Also, since we never actually see the mob names in-game, does it really matter? Eventually, a common name for the dragon will show up, and it will probably be the Enderdragon. You can call it what you'd like, as long as it's clear what you're talking about.
Ender of Worlds is the best, but I'm not sure if Notch would go for it.
That is quite funny in terms of what it is directing at. Terraria, fun game but gets boring quite easy. Anyway, I feel the dragon does need a epic name similar to that and based on that video of it and personal view, it can do damage on a massive scale.

I was just looking for that. Yes he did, as a response to someone asking on Reddit.
Personally, I think "Ender Dragon" suffices. But this is coming from somebody that thinks "pyroclastic dragon" isn't hard to say.
It might be a decent shift if all dragons were named simply, but sans the term "dragon." This one would be "The Ender," while the red dragon would be "The Red." And y'know, whatever else comes up. I'm hoping for a hellfire wyrm in the future.

Make note: I generally avoid being insulting. If I sound insulting, I'm probably joking.
Wyrms derived from worm are commonly serpent dragons with no legs and no wings. Drakes are more commonly dragons with no wings and four legs also. What we have here is a classic occidental (European) dragon.
But Enderwyrm is a smooth sounding name.

Old enough? It's not THAT old. Unless you're speaking to the general public as if they were all 11; THEN there would be some argument regarding age.
