Me and my friend want to install a 1.9 pre-release but we cant because for us its a zip file. Can any one give us a link to a jar file download? Or at least tell us how to convert it? Please you would be a huge help.

.JAR files are not redistributable. It would be illegal to give it to you. However, you can download a program called Winrar (It is free) and that will allow you to extract the .JAR file from the zip.
