I started a new world (hardcore mode) and discovered this odd mountain while exploring for reasorces. I tried starting a new world with the same seed but was unable to reproduce the formation/bug.

Sounds like a fluke. A freak incident. Maybe the right planets were aligned or something.

Either way, a non-reproducible bug is no bug at all.

I also found two mountains like that in a world.i tried the seed again but they werent there (just like you)

but itle probly be fixed in the full release of 1.9

Also in some other world i created jst to goof off with tnt i found another mountain like that

My not being able to reproduce it does not mean it's not reproduceable. It's probably something random to do with how biomes are formed.

This thread is full of people who don't realize that that is a chunk error; which is as was speculated, a freak accident in world generation. I'm not entirely sure why it happens, usually due to terrain generation updates between patches, but this one is too small for that.

Anyway, dig it out and make a base in it.

This is a brand new world I started in hardcore mode. As I said in the video it looks like it's due a patch but is not.

You didn't read my post correctly. I said usually this is due to a terrain generation update between patches. It's just a generation bug. It's been happening since alpha.
