From Greek τέλος (telos, end) and ἄνθρωπος (anthropos, man) I have constructed this term. I'm guessing the answer is "everyone". I only developed my fear when one spawned under a tree in broad daylight...
That's it!
We need to desensitize people to this phobia!
First step: View pictures of Endermen.
Second step: View videos of teleporting Endermen.
Third step: Approach and look at an Enderman in creative.
Fourth step: Approach and look at an Enderman in survival.
Fifth step: Be exposed to multiple Endermen in open environment.
Only one time have they made me feel actual videogame fear (meaning: Worried about my current character in the game but in no way actually afraid because that would be retarded). I was making a ravine into a town and I glanced over one. I was about 30 blocks up and the ledges were 1 wide.

Endermen are now at least a true challenge. I can't just walk up to them and dump a bucket of water on them to kill them easily. Nor can I snipe them with a bow. Nor can I use most efficient designs for mob spawners to kill them.
I'm not exactly frightened, but I'm happy that there is a challenging mob that it is possible to avoid, but offers a good incentive to kill. Definitely a great addition to the game.

Well I don't fear them. They are a challenge, but I am pro enough to be able to kill them easily. I respect them, but I don't fear them.
But i don't want to try killing more than one at once...

Maybe you'll be as good as me one day
I often challenge endermen to take me on, I even invite them to bring some friends
(they usually choose creepers)
either way they always lose, because I'm the real Moxz

Endermen don't really scare me, because it's easy to just not look directly at them. I watched one milling about on my roof from a big bay window in my house one morning, then POOF, he teleported to a treetop. POOF, he teleported to another rooftop. POOF, he vanished into the wilderness.
They're more of a curiosity for me.
Now creepers. Those things are a menace. I don't care to watch them, I just want them dead. Preferably from a distance, where they can't do any damage.

I've learned to be paranoid of endermen. The first hardcore world I ran was abruptly ended when an enderman accidentally crossed my view, then dissappeared ... I looked around cautiously for a bit, then went back to whatever I was working on. Then BAM! I was dead, and the enderman placed a block on my corpse to rub it in.

Even with the changes, they're still chumps.
I'd hate to see you guys play a real scary game.

Oh yeah, being a pansy.
Seriously though with full hunger health regen all encounters that don't involve surprise buttseks from a creeper are a joke.
Once potions and enchanting come out its only going to get easier.
