Hey guys I didn't see a thread about this in the first few pages of this section. I noticed an Enderman that was pursuing me was carrying a brown mushroom. This was the best screen cap that I could get since he was chasing me and I didn't want to die. I know it looks like it's between its legs but it's definitely being held as it would if it were a full sized block.
Obvious....thats why they have purple eyes...too much mushrooms

I've been playing since 1.8 pre-release and haven't seen anything like this in-game or on the forum so I just figured it was new. cool stuff though.
