Why even complain if it's optional though? Seriously, Hardcore mode is for people that want a challenge, were you expecting anything else?

There should potentially be a way of surviving past death if you hit maybe can brew some sorta potion that allows you to cheat death. Possibly with the use of should sand or something you must acquire in the nether. It should be difficult though. This is technically voodoofrogs idea and is included in his survivalism mod.

It's good because there are a lot of people who really want to play hardcore mode. Many people already play minecraft this way(after they die, they delete the world in the menu) and now they have a real challanging option. if you die, you die.

It is there for those people who want that insane hard challenge! :smile.gif: Those of us who don't want to play never have to turn on that mode, ever!
