This music disc is the creepiest thing I have ever heard. This disc is the last thing this person did before dying. Don't know why notch would add this, except the reason of it freaking out people and giving them thoughts that we were not alone on the island. Last thing you here on the record is fire which leaves me to believe this is in the Nether. Does this freak you out?
Just go to creative mode and listen to it. Tell me what you think.
I heard it on YT, very creepy and eerie. :biggrin.gif:
I did too about a month ago...To me I think its the genesis of herobrine. A very experienced minecraftian was wandering in the nether until he was lost...He was running low on torches and his sword was going to give out so he ran down a mysterious tunnel...he saw something and approaches until..........the recording cuts of.... o.O
I felt it was some sort of terrifying black cloud creature...
A man running in the nether from a Ghast, takes shelter in a cave. Struggling with a flint and steel, he manages to light a fire and rest. The fire goes out mysteriously, and he is able to re light it and fumble in his bag to pull out a journal. Just as he is about to write something, the light goes out, and the music starts. At first he doesn't hear it and attempts another relight before hearing it and seeing it come towards him with blinding speed. He gets up, abandoning the journal and dashes further down the darkened cave, running at full speed in a panicked fury trying to escape as the sound draws nearer. As it over takes him,the black could is seen with a mask resembling a clown or a jack in the box, and he attempts a scream before a horrifying black hand cups his mouth and he breathes his last breath.
What I make of it is someone running through a cave, they stop and lights something, although now, I'm not so sure? If you listen, the, I'll call it "metallic," sound happens twice. A watch? The fasteners on a pack? I dunno. But anyway, he stops, and I think he takes out a map because he is lost, and something is chasing him. He almost reaches the way out before whatever it is finally gets him, which damages whatever was used to record it.
I don't doubt that this isn't here to just freak you out. I think it may be foreshadowing something to be added secretly in a later update. (Why was the person recording though!?) Freaky? Yes. Significant? Yes. But what I'm wondering is why people have all sorts of theories about this, but none about the significance of Cave noises/ambiances.
