Yeah, there's a tundra biome now, it's covered in snow. But it seems to be rare, and when it DOES show up, it seems to cover a LOT of ground. A bit like the old snow worlds.
I cant recall if snow was returning in the 1.9 Pre-release or afterward
Also if snow has returned, seeds would be appreciated

I spawned in a world with snow 1.9 pr. Oddly, snow was to the SOUTH, and I had to run NORTH to get away from it, and there was a bamboo shoot floating above a snow patch by the ocean. If you tell me how to figure out my seed, I can give it to you.

Just did that, had about 50 of them, and next thing I know I, fly up, and its snow everywhere.

There not mine just something I came across in another thread, If you find out PM me too probably some sort of seed generator.

I always find coniferous forests but no snow...you know those pine trees...
F3 now shows seed
Run south / west(through the pine forest) to get to a snowy tundra.
