Wait, so lemme get this right - your just upset about recent changes and planned changes?
Don't update your client then. Problem solved.
As for the rest of us.... we play for fun - it's funny, fun and a little educational actually (lots of math involved) which is why I love playing.
I don't play to be serious...
I play to explore an imaginary land and build wicked things. When someone tells me to "shhh" in the library I start running.
Why? I am so used to hearing a creeper while concentrating on something - it's programmed into my subconciousness now.
Don't like Minecraft? Don't play. There are other imitation builder games out there, I am sure google will show yout he way. As for me, unless they do something stupid like 1/16th blocks I think I am a player for life. Wouldn't mind the 1/2 block Corner/Angle blocks though.. add some ramps and stuff for archetecture.
Can anyone please explain to this person what evidence is? This is not evidence! This is not fact! Also to top it off, "babies" was mentioned before the egg idea. Man you're like a .
Going by the fact it is you location, if you it is falls then you shame what ever country is your home.
Yes he mentioned babies first then switched to eggs and then refers to the 1st post again in the 3rd.

No need to read again, if you find it linked together, it's because of your own personal bias. Babies were not mentioned when he wanted to clear up what type of food will be used.

If you hold food in your hand, they follow you around. If you feed them, they enter "love mode". Two animals in love mode = babies.

He said that food was needed for babies. He then clarified what that food was. If you are too blind to read the word "babies" mentioned right there, I don't know what I can do for you.
Let's just accept that nobody here is going to change their point of view. Especially by using heavy amounts of sarcasm, personal insults and use of bold. We don't know exactly what's going to happen with breeding, we're just going to have to wait and see. And when we do say there will be lovers and haters. Can we all just get on with it instead of bickering?
Agreed, these people will never stop.
All I want are some mature trolls.
- All animals will come from eggs because Notch thinks it's funny.
I think that's hilarious-but only because I once tricked one of my friends into momentarily thinking Manatees laid eggs (was tired)

"I'm an outsider by choice, but not truly.
It’s the unpleasantness of the system that keeps me out.
I’d rather be in, in a good system. That’s where my discontent comes from:
being forced to choose to stay outside.
My advice: Just keep movin’ straight ahead.
Every now and then you find yourself in a different place."

Dude, theres a thing called Digiex Minecraft launcher, it switches to any version of Minecraft. If you don't like your current version, switch to an old one, the oldest version you can go to is Alpha.
I think there is a little too much humor going to be present in minecraft when 1.9 comes out. I don't believe Notch is taking it seriously what-so-ever and it's just going to kill my experience in minecraft, a game which had much potential and respect. Instead of convincing people to buy the game now, I'm telling them to wait because I don't feel Notch is at the right state of mind at the moment. Humor is appreciated but not so much as in to ruining the general quality of the game.
You know what, all joking aside, notch doing this just to **** you off!
Well not specifically, and not really **** off, just agitate.
I have this theory.
See notch is a stickler for creativity, independent learning, and programming.
So here's my theory:
Notch has an ulterior motive. He tries to make Minecraft good enough to addict people and make them love the game.
Then he does something wrong or implement something in a way that agitates people, especially ones who expect more logic.
By doing this he hopes to inspire and drive people with programming experience to make games of their own, employing those very ideas that they wanted in minecraft in the first place.

We are still talking about a game where the average first legitimate action is punching a tree, right?
Right?
Chuck Norris parables jokes teach us all about real life. I'm pretty sure there are some about him punching down cords of lumber.

No, not really
The joke went long enough, it's not even funny nor an insult anymore.
What does animals eating wheat have to do with baby animals or eggs?
If you hold food in your hand, they follow you around. If you feed them, they enter "love mode". Two animals in love mode = babies.
You know what would be fun? If every single animal in minecraft came from eggs. Breeding would involve moving egg blocks around.
Also, the "food" isn't what the player eats. It's specific to the animals. Right now, it's bundles of wheat for all of them.
... You've got to be kidding me.
Alright so if I say..
"Trenix went to go make food."
That must mean I'm talking about baby animals, right?
Food is most likely part of luring an animal into fence and possibly even mating. However that twitter post has nothing to do with baby animals.
Did you even read that? Go back and do it again.
babies were never mentioned for breeding
