Hopefully there's more of a structured system instead of massive animal spawning.
I would suggest that animals could only go into "love mode" once, but this would pose problems.
Say you have four sheep (each represented by "O"), and each pair can produce one offspring, once.
This gives you two offspring, which can now breed with each other. But after that, then what?

You could lure more animals into your breeding area,
but since animals don't respawn anymore (basically),
there's a finite amount of outside animals you could use.

Each pair can only have two to three pair of offspring, but every few generations there would be a few fertile offspring/offspring that dont survive.

Its not flaming when its true, I should be able to speak my mind on my own thread, warn status 10%? Thats just a badge of honor.
Clarice Starling would like to have a word with you.
In any case, a solution could be: To have each ANIMAL produce an offspring, and these two could not breed with each other. This way, as long as you had four animals to start with, you could sustain an animal farm.
To avoid over-population like in the picture, a timer for the parents and the baby could be activated to prevent breeding actions for an amount of time. They baby animal would have a longer one that would last as long as it is in its baby form. The amount on the timer could vary a little to prevent massive simultaneous multiplication. It would probably last at least an in-game day or two.

WOAH, WAIT. Our eyes take pictures? Please tell me I can recover these pictures from another person.
You have to stick a thumb drive up their nose, drag and drop the pictures onto it, and then load them through your ear.
I really wish we would get bulls, boars, rams, and roosters in order to perpetuate breeding. Asexual mob breeding just seems off... The male counterparts could also be a little more rare to keep breeding from getting out of control. The could also be hostile when attacked or when another of it's type is attacked.

How would you tell male from female? If one cow tends to be extremely bitchy at everyone for a few days, it would be a female? :3

As much as I want it realistic, I doubt Notch will add a random weight choice for killing offspring after being born.
Actually, some bugs in 1.8.1 are now gone in 1.9
The light underwater one seems to be gone
Which is why I used the word "most", not "all".
aww... But i want lamb
what about minecarts acting like mobs?? Has that been fixed?
Lol, what?

You could critical hit minecarts and that means that you can't attack to destroy it.
I have no idea if that's fixed or not, I never experienced that :tongue.gif: I don't mess with minecarts much anymore.

Give females a bow. :3
Worked with Pacman. Er, Mrs. Pacman.
Bulls have a huge dong, Cows like reading cookbooks?
All cattle are capable of having horns. Horns =/= Bull
A lack of udder and slightly different model/skin would all that it would take.
Rams would have horns
Roosters could be red
Boars would have tusks
No... they retract, and testes would be inappropriate

Mrs. Pacman was actually created by a hacker. Namco later decided to adopt the hacked game
