minecraft is a ****ing epic game. I love everything about it. There are so many players out there that constantly judge and criticize the efforts of notch and jeb. I think all content added is great and that they should keep up the good work.
Hating on haters for hating is ironic and pointless.

If mojang happens to check these forums then I hope they see "these" threads more than see threads about people who don't like hunger because they are too afraid of change and challenge. The point of my thread isn't to hate but to praise mojang for this wonderful game they have given us
You're not fixing anything here. Either have something constructive to say, or don't post. At the very least leave out the return-hate. It sours your compliments towards Mojang.

Then I'd say change your topic description to something that isn't going to attract a lot of haters and haters of haters.
Telling a bunch of people that dislike an aspect of the game "**** you." does nothing.

Hehe.. since my thank-you thread more of these popped up. Although they are missing the point... i am thanking Mojang for Minecraft, not hating the whiners and whingers.
I also accept that some people are disappointed.
But good work :biggrin.gif: MOAR OF THESE SHOULD BE MADE (minus the hate)
The point of "hating" on MC is purely constructive, especially since we are its beta testers.
WRONG: Hating and constructive criticism are completely different. IF you say "I hate the hunger bar" then you hate, if you say "The hunger bar could be better by .... <insert>" then you are constructively criticising their work.

Hunger bar basically removed any sense of challenge the game had.
Except that post like these have nothing to contribute.
Agreed. If 10,000 people all said, "Excuse me, but I dislike feature X of the new update. I dislike it for <reason> and this is my thoughts on how it could be changed so both parties are happy.<Idea>" Things could change for the better.
However, we just get a bunch of worthless threads that devolve into flamewars.

You were pretty much a demigod with mushroom stew before 1.8. Hunger is definitely more challenging as you need to stop battling to actually eat and regenerate. That is mostly seen if fighting many ghasts(and catching on fire) and during pvp.
I also agree I love the updates. I was extremely surprised that people were complaining about 1.9.. I didn't expect it this soon at all and it had so much content too. Yes the prerelease is buggy, yes suggesting changes maturely and pointing out bugs is nice. Judging the whole update, insulting, bashing, being ungrateful just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Just made me understand that many will always complain about anything(pig nose anyone?)

I am happy to say that ONE SINGLE MOTHER-F post/thread did not :biggrin.gif:

WRONG: any source of "hate" coming from your paying customers has to be taken as constructive, no matter how negative it might be. Otherwise it is entirely possible to sue Mojang with a class-action lawsuit against false claims. Although that route is way off the scale of extremity, it is still valid. Notch has to just sit there and take it if he wants us to stop "hating".
You have to assume as the developer that "I hate the hunger bar" means "I suggest you alter the hunger bar", otherwise you will get nowhere in this business.
If we could all talk rationally like badprenup suggested, Minecraft would be a better game. Notch and jeb must be very confused by the flamewar hell-hole this forum seems to be right now. I'd avoid reading my fanforums too.

The absolute best thing about the hunger bar is how much it improves pvp. I saw some people complaining that the couldn't mass scarf stew anymore and how it ruined it and it made me very confused haha.
Still, most deaths in minecraft are falls or sneak creepers, this has become even more drastic for me, mind I haven't got to the nether legitimately yet so I may think there's more challenge, but so far my brains was allowed even MORE autopilot since the hunger bar. lol zombies literally no threat, skellies very minimal, creepers, not much unless they fall from an overhang behind you, spiders next to nothing, falls, #1 source of death. haha

@jase3905: OMG of course, false claims, because... what exactly? lmfao if someone mentions a lawsuit on a forum you know they're probably pretty ignorant of what constitutes harm lol... Nobody can sue notch because they dislike the game anymore than one could if they though Black Ops looked more fun in the commercials. Notch has never said you get what you want, even his tos says he'll make his game and you've paid, if disatisfied you are welcome to a refund, lmao, you can't sue someone for... making you buy something they'd offer you a refund on. unless you've experienced some other kind of harm as well?

Agreed. We have a lot of hating without a lot of comments. Heck, I'd be happy to see people say, "I don't like this because of this" instead of, "I hate everything about this and you guys suck and <insert long, badly-spelled rant with much swearing>". If they have solutions, all the better, but less hate is all I hope for.
How ironic. A whiner whining about whiners. Would you like some cheese with that whine Mr. Yet-Another-Notch-Worshipper?
Hahahahahah. Funny. Although I never whined about anything. I basically told all the ungrateful haters to **** off. Last time I checked I didn't worship notch. I do really love this game though and I think notch is a genius for coming up with such a unique and satisfying game.
Technically it is food stacking that removed all challenge in the game. You can take 64 piece of bread into a cave so basically you should never starve and you should always be able to heal. When food couldn't stack, although some foods were really good about healing, it still was limited and there was a risk of running out and then you had no way of healing. With food stacking you should never run out unless you are retarded. But if you were to remove food stacking then hunger would be completely unbalanced and it would hinder exploration. So the hunger bar must go.
Also the hunger bar turns minecraft into another cover based shooter. Hide, fight, hide, fight, ect. Quality Gameplay at its finest. Also on the point of running out of health, the hunger bar will restore more health then a golden apple would before running low of hunger. Therefore the game is easier, and anyone who dies in combat should be ashamed of themselves.

You're right on all counts. I do too love this game, and think Notch is quite creative. I do wish the actual haters would please come back with an intellectual viewpoint and elucidation to match. But you're confusing anyone who disagrees with you as a hater, and by posting this extreme nonsense, you're not making anything better.
You're making it worse.
*edit* And apparently the mods agree because they made you change your topic title and most of your op.
