I need help, I have been having the same problem for months now. As I open Minecraft the launcher 1.4.4 which starts up perfectly, then the problem comes. I click the "play" button but nothing happens. No loading, or loading bar appears. Its like i didn't even click play at all. It fades out but that's it. Also when i click the "Development Console" tab it say something like " 18:00:59:" which might not be it but maybe. I have researched Google and YouTube watching and reading solutions but none seem to work but got close to working. And the error says "Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException at net.minecraft.launcher.game.MinecraftGameRunner.migrateOldAssets(MinecraftGameRunner.java:328) ~[launcher.jar:?] at net.minecraft.launcher.game.MinecraftGameRunner.downloadRequiredFiles(MinecraftGameRunner.java:88) ~[launcher.jar:? ]at com.mojang.launcher.game.runner.AbstractGameRunner.playGame(AbstractGameRunner.java:102) ~[launcher.jar:?] at net.minecraft.launcher.ui.bottombar.PlayButtonPanel$1$1.run(PlayButtonPanel.java:56) ~[launcher.jar:?]at java.util.concurrent.Executors$RunnableAdapter.call(Unknown Source) ~[?:1.8.0_05]," and I believe that's the problem. So if you guys come also a solution or know the solution feel free to help.

this isnt for minecraft related problems. this is for forum related problems since this is now the beata forums, they need testing and need the bugs flushed out. thanks
