Will there be a simple way to search within a topic or for members? Perhaps there could be a dropdown menu when one hovers over the magnifying glass which allows you to search for members or within the topic as well as a forum-wide search.

EDIT: This is in addition to the 'search button' which is honestly, quite redundant.

If you hover over the Search dropdown on the thread page you can search within a thread:
