This bug was reported here but there was the lack of info that it only occurs when you are creating a thread.

Reproduce: (thank you so much for fixing that citric I presume) Just go to create a new thread, go into BBCode view, press enter, notice there was no new line.

It should not only be noted that this only occurs when creating a new thread, but also that the enter key all together doesn't register outside of the cursor's blinking. Highlighting text and pressing enter doesn't replace it, which would be the case if the editor was just removing the newline for some reason. This isn't the case for the reason provided, and the fact that you can paste in a new line.

The best proof I can give for me pressing enter is you'll notice the cursor doesn't blink as I type, including when I hit enter.
