Since my previous thread was moved to the archive, I'm going to assume that someone thought that this bug was fixed. Unfortunately, it has not been.
Every time I log into the beta forum, it gives me a notification of the threads that have been posted in the forums that I'm subscribed to. In my preferences, I have that notification turned off. (I can provide a screenshot for proof if asked) While not a serious bug, this is very annoying. Please fix it.
Thanks.
PS. Also, fix that annoying double-space bug. I'll let the forum know when I want a blank line. It doesn't need to do it for me.

ya I have noticed that too.. also I wish it would not auto space but that is how they want it I guess :/
Or it could be that if I want another space I hit enter a second time like every other piece of software ever created.
Just saying...
Actually a lot of editors and software have the auto double-paragraph. If you notice, the editor this website uses, is BBCode (Bulletin Board Code). The reason pressing Enter once makes a new paragraph is because that's how the original code was built. The thought process behind this (Guessing warning), is that you'll never need to just press Enter, unless you want a new paragraph, and if you want a list, you can press Shift+Enter.
I personally have no problem with it. It's just how it was made, and I'm willing to put in the extra key press to get what I wanted.

Sorry. With the forum continuously relaunching it keeps losing my subscriptions so I didn't see your reply. I'll try that and post again either when it happens again, or tomorrow when I'm sure it's not doing it anymore.
I had to change it back and forth three times, but the third time seems to have stuck. Sorry I can't help you pin it down... but at least it's working now.

Curse PremiumIf you want to have a single enter,
"Like so",
hold Shift while pressing Enter.

ModeratorI really hate that they want to be annoying with it. Would it really be that difficult to have it as an option at the very least?
