This would be nice, even as it currently is, so when you put the code and example of the thread's signature you don't see double.

Yeah, you're right, I tried it shortly after that and edited my comment, although you Ninja-d me.
I guess I was thinking that because of some of the other forums that might work that way, and have the bar on the side that says things like
Smilies are ON
Signatures are ON
HTML is ON
BBCode is ON
You may NOT reply
(or something to that effect)

Curse PremiumIt gives you the ability to hide your signature on a given post.
2. Does an example of this feature exist on any other forum?
It exists on the current forums, albeit only on the OP.
3. What value would this feature provide to yourself and others?
It would help reduce redundant signatures which link to the same page you are on.
