My thoughts so far of the beta minecraft forum site has been extremely positive. The refined crisp and clean of the beta forum make the site easier to navigate and promotes greater integration with other curse sites. My favorite part of the beta forums so far is the new thread icons, these icons make type of the thread so much easier to identify.

For me, the new icons are more confusing than the old ones.
