For a long time I have wanted a relevancy filter on the search page on MCF, and this is why: although the last update time, replies and views filters are all very useful for finding large posts, they are not very useful for small ones, and the alphabetical filter has never been much use at all. If I'm searching for a small mod, say MapWriter, and I use the replies, views, or last update time filters, most likely I'm going to get a page from the Optifine thread where someone asked about MapWriter compatibility, or a modpack that uses MapWriter. I have to click through several pages to find the thread I want. If there was a filter that ordered threads on how often the search term appeared in the topic compared to length and whether or not it was in the title, that would be a lot more useful.
