The owner of a thread (the user who started the thread) can add co-owners who can also modify the information in the main post. The main owner would still be listed as the one who created the thread, but anybody he/she adds as a co-owner would be seen in a box to the side. As an example, take this box from the well known Essentials plugin on bukkit.org (see picture). It shows each person involved, and their role.
This would be an extremely useful feature, because I know that sometimes the owner of the server gets busy and passes off the main control of the server to another user. However, the other user cannot change any information on the forum page, and so the information on the page becomes old. This is what has happened with the server I am Head Administrator on. He got busy and could no longer manage the server, and so now I do. I have no access to the main forum page however, and so the information on the page gets old. I know there are other servers and mods out there with the same issues. I think the entire community would benefit from this feature.
This is a really good idea. I've made a note, we won't be able to launch with this but hopefully we'll be able to offer it in the near future. Thank you!
