I'm not sure if this is a bug, but whenever I look at other people's member titles, its the same from the old forums, however when I look at mine, it is Out of the Water, even though I was a redstone miner. Anyone know how to fix this?
The beta is a copy of minecraft forum dated May 20th 2014, this is why your post count is effected. Once the server goes live your post count should be restored.

The odd thing about that is that is I haven't been doing much posting since the 20th of May, I've only asked about a crash in the InvTweaks thread, and all-in-all that took up no more than 3 or 4 posts. It seems my count has gone down by just under 300. It's not like it's something vital but I'd like to know why that is.
EDIT: The new reply thing kinda confuses me. It doesn't quote automatically. Is it just a reply-to-thread button or does the other person still get notified?

The post count discrepancy could be to do with how the forums on the beta are configured, some are mistakenly set not to count towards postcount. I will at some point over the next few days go through and make sure they're correctly configured and then you can check again to make sure everything is okay, I'll let you know once I've done this.
With regards to "reply" vs. "quote": both options trigger a notification, the only difference between the buttons is that the quote button pre-loads the post as a quote. If you click reply to a specific post a notification will be sent (if the user has that enabled) regardless of the reply contents, even if there's no quote. I think this is a really good improvement, on IPB I found it frustrating having to quote people to make sure they get a notification!
