Its great that Minecraft Forum is going through all these improvements, but I'd like to point one thing out. I absolutely hate the stark white background of every forum page. By having all those colorful tags and prefixes, the white is simply much to contrasting and even looks a bit utilitarian. I know this is just a beta and things are subject to change, but I'd recommend making the background some sort of brown or pale blue to tone down the visuals.

Yeah! The white is really harsh on the eyes! I think that light pale blue would be a lot better.

I was thinking about this to. The new layout is anything but organized, especially on that background.
