I like the new forums. Except for how about nothing on the forum (except for the background) is really Minecraft related. Also what are thanks? I mean go to you name and go to your profile and it says how much thanks you've gotten. I'm curious of what they are.
Thanks are essentially this forum software's version of reputation. You can "upvote" a post by clicking on the thumbs up button under a user's userbit on a post.
About the design of the site, that'll be really more of a decision of the Curse dev team. Let's see if they decide to change it or not.
I could see the top bar (News, Forum, Servers etc) being green as in grass, then the thread/post headers being brown as in dirt. Although I must criticize simple one colour rectangles being someone who textures.
