Citricsquid said that that tag was being depreciated, in least in that form. I do not know if he has plans for a replacement.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't think we'll be bringing this across however a native feature that works in a very similar way has been discussed and is on my list of features to eventually support, when it will happen I'm not sure but we're aware that the feature is well loved and provides a lot of positive value. Thanks for your feedback!
