just to add to the need for new icons, i can hardly see the small yellow line indicating i have posted in the thread, this is partly due to it being very subtle, but also due to my colour blindness (no i don't see in black and white, i have red/green deficiency and thus have issues distinguishing similar colours next to each other)

I have a suggestion for a new look to the forum icons. I posted in this thread; http://beta.minecraftforum.net/forums/beta/forum-beta-feedback/2072028-diamond-icon-you-posted-in-this-thread#c6 but due to the risk of derailing that thread i decided to make one of my own. I think the forum icons should get a new look with this new forum system. some suggestions below;
Chest Block; Main forum and sub forums
Grass block; New post
Dirt block; No new post
Diamond in the lower left corner; You made a post in that thread
Obsidian block; Locked post
Red stone dust; Pinned post
Piston block (sticky piston extended); moved post
