When pressing enter, the editor automatically adds a double line. I believe this setting should be optional (automatically off). If it already is, please point me in the right direction
Example:
Line 1
Line 2
(enter was only pressed once between each double space)
Format is the title of the drop-down, I can't actually select it. None of the other options seem to be the same as the default "Paragraph" setting
Weird, seems I can no longer select it like I could earlier at the start of the post. I personally like the double space, but I can see where it can be troublesome when making a list not using the bullets ect.. (I like a space here regardless but I can still type)
After typing something, I am able to select format and it rids the double space thing for the remainder of the post. If that makes sense. (I hit enter twice here)
I now see that using different sizes don't work, or show up in posts, but in edit it does.
This double line enter also interferes with spoilers. If I don't hold shift before pressing enter as I read above I create a new spoiler below the current one instead of moving down a line inside the spoiler.
This is unfortunately a problem with the current version of the TinyMCE editor that we use. There is a new version of the editor available that will support not creating a new paragraph on enter but upgrading the editor is a large task that won't be something that is done prior to launch, it's going to be part of a future iteration. For the mean time if you want to continue the same paragraph you can use shift + enter, I know this isn't ideal but unfortunately there's nothing we can do Sorry!

Retired StaffHowever, I think it is a CSS based setting, and not just the editor, seeing as old posts show up the same way.Just tested with the BBCode editor, it works fine.

Forum AdminChanging from Paragraph to Format doesn't force the double space.
