Definitely true. For someone like me who sometimes skips ahead while reading forum posts, it's useful to instantly see who posted what so if I miss part of a conversation I can go back and find it more easily.

In the new forum, it's not there. Instead, you get a link to the quotee's profile, which seems way less useful to me.
