I think the various icons and user GUIs don't work together. There is the wonderfully simple buttons and navigational bars and you have these rather ugly social media icons and thread status icons which seem to have some noise filtered onto them.

Why not just remove the '3D cube' effect and just use a flat 2D square? Is the duplication of the symbol three times needed? It just adds clutter and makes it harder to see as the statuses are less distinct than the old bucket ones.

I hope something is done about this as it makes the entire forums look rather inconsistent to the eye.

I assumed the 'new' topic icons were already implemented as the old ones on this beta weren't noisy – they were smooth.
