This was a "feature" in the old Minecraft Forum, but it never really worked properly.
Where the "Active Forum Topics" box is on the homepage, a button was there allowing one to filter out what kinds of topics would be relevant to their interests.
I.E. As I only play Single-Player on PC, I would configure the filters so no server ads, nor any console/PE threads ever appeared, so that I would have easy access to threads that would be relevant to me, such as threads requesting mod or vanilla help, or simply awesome builds.
On the old forum, this feature never really worked because the filters would revert back to normal after refreshing the page, making it somewhat of a waste of time to configure all those filters when it would have been faster to go to a relevant section in the end. However, I believe a permanent filter system could work pretty well on Cobalt!
Configure once and never again, so you only see the five most active topics that are relevant to you.
Unfortunately the UI wouldn't pop up so I can't get a picture of the actual feature, but at least there's a picture of where the button was.
This is a good point, personally I completely forgot that this even existed exactly because it never did function properly. I'm sure we can look at providing this sort of functionality long term (the ability to curate your own forum experience) but I can't provide any guarantees about when it will happen, it's definitely something we want to do though. Thanks for taking the time to suggest this
