Also note in the non-WYSIWYG editor, there's no need to shift+enter for returns.
I don't believe that's what he was referencing. The Advanced BBCode was a list of clickable interfaced BBCode implementation windows that people could explore and add to their threads. It had things such as 'spoiler' and 'box' commands. It also seems that a good amount of the old features such as boxes and media are also having some trouble embedding. Users such as myself have been looking for the Advanced BBCode list, and I haven't been able to find it.

Thanks, maybe next up could be the previously quoted thread doesn't include previously quoted threads like the old forum? I don't much like being an advocate for 'the old version is perfect' but you can walk away with some positive lessons learnt. =D

by threads do you mean posts? You can control that yourself! info on how to is in the FAQ.

IMO that should default to be off. It was disabled on the old one for much the same reason of the fact that it's redundant, but we also don't have the tiny arrows to move back to the previously quoted post (which would be more convenient and possibly make turning off nesting make more sense).
Any way we can view the page without the nested quotes? It seems that there is an option, but only for your own posts. It looks better in my opinion without the nested quotes, but I can still view nested quotes in others' posts.

http://www.minecraftforum.net/my-preferences the nest quotes option
Well, in that case I think it should be off by default, but that's not really a suggestion it's more nitpicking. >_>
Thanks for the info, though!
really helpful
