This is an incredibly simple mod that utilizes the MineChem API to add custom recipes for any item to its decomposition or synthesis machines. With this, you can add recipes for mod items (if you play FTB for example) or change existing recipes if you feel they don't fit (Not all recipes can be changed. Synthesis recipes can, but decomposition recipes don't seem to be changeable).
The mod uses a basic config file that's generated when the mod is first run. You can find it in your config folder under minechemRecipes.txt. By default it lists all the elements and molecules registered with MineChem, and shows some example recipes at the bottom.

Syntax:
Syntax for this file is incredibly simple. Any line with a "#" at the beginning will be treated as a comment, and therefor ignored. Any other line will be read and parsed depending on the recipe type.
Decomposition Recipe(DECOMP):
Simple recipe. Put item in decomposition machine, receive specified output.
Example: DECOMP:270:Au(5):Fe(1)
Red: Recipe type
Blue: Item/Block ID
Green: Chemicals that should be produced through decomposition
Recipe Explained:
This is a simple decomposition recipe (DECOMP) that will break down a wooden pickaxe (item ID 270) and turn it into five gold (Au(5)) and one iron (Fe(1)).
Decomposition Recipe with Chance(DECOMP_CHANCE)
Same as above, but with a defined chance to receive specified items.
Example: DECOMP_CHANCE:270:0.5:Au(5):Fe(1)
Red: Recipe type
Blue: Item/Block ID
Green: Chance for specified items to be created. 0.0 to 1.0
Purple: Chemicals that should be produced through decomposition
Recipe Explained:
Same as above, except this will only produce the specified chemicals 50% (0.5) of the time.
Shaped Synthesis Recipe(SYNTH)
A basic shaped synthesis recipe. Place the specified chemicals in the proper slots, provide specified power amount, receive item.
Red: Recipe type
Blue: Item/Block ID
Green: Power (in Minecraft Joules) that should be used when synthesising this item
Purple: Items that go into the synthesis recipe. These should be listed as though they were in a crafting grid, from top left to bottom right. null should be used to indicate an empty slot.
Recipe Explained
Will produce a wooden pickaxe (item id 270) when one hydrogen (H(1)) is placed in the top left and right corners, with nothing in the other 7 slots
Shapeless Synthesis Recipe(SYNTH_SHAPELESS)
A basic shaped synthesis recipe. Place the specified chemicals in the proper slots, provide specified power amount, receive item.
Example: SYNTH_SHAPELESS:270:1000:H(1):H(1)
Red: Recipe type
Blue: Item/Block ID
Green: Power (in Minecraft Joules) that should be used when synthesising this item
Purple: Items that go into the synthesis recipe. These can be listed in whatever order you choose, but you cannot list more than nine.
Recipe Explained
Same as above, however this recipe is shapeless.

I meant to say a place where you dont have to go trough pages and pages of forum post to find if someone as added a recipes you are looking for, would also help avoid duplicate recipes.
