Hello fellow forumgoers, and welcome to Get Medieval, my single player project. I've been working on this ever since I played Minecraft and decided to share it to you, as I'm rather proud of it all.
I decided to keep a Medieval theme within the level (hence the name), as I find it most fitting within the game. I did use glass to certain extents though. (And the starting point is a hot-air balloon :tongue.gif:).
Contents:
- 5 castles
- treetop village
- fairly large amount of towers
- clifftop village
- pyramid
- mountain w/ waterfall
- pair of Dutch bridges
- wooden ship
- dock
- plaza
- lots of other things
- road system
- Find the tomb of the red-eyed skull
Entrance can be found near the eastern part of the map.
- Find the tomb under the church
Should be fairly simple once you find the church...
- Find the underground castle
The entrance can be found near the back of the Gargoyle-castle
- Find the Administrator's office and library
Entrance can be found in the underground castle
- Find the Fire, Water, Wind and Earth Temples (Hard)
All have small underground entrances near their elements (i.e. Water in water, Earth near trees etc.)
All can be recognised by having a similar hallway halfway through.
- Find the Pyramid's tomb
Fairly simple
- Stand near the feet of the giant statue.
Hidden entrance. Not much else to say really.
NOTES:
You can find a compass in the corner near the lighthouse-castle
Feel free to play this in survival mode, although I deem it rather impossible to complete all objectives in one go.
If you do, make sure you land in the water at the start. :wink.gif:
I do not recommend removing/placing blocks, it kinda ruins the feeling (with the exception of a single red block)
I also recommend playing with fog 2, mostly for the general air of mystery.
Feel free to post hints for other players if they ask for it, or just ask :smile.gif:
Anyway I hope you like it. After all I did my best... Have fun!
Great work! This is super fun to play in survival mode. When the creepers explode it looks sooooo cool after. :tongue.gif:
I was trying to get into that one tower with the water-vator and then a bunch of creepers attacked me. They exploded and smashed the sponges that held back the water so the whole level flooded. Good fun. :biggrin.gif:
This level gets a 5/5 from me.
