if you want your server removed simply change the port it runs on. I really cannot be bothered to repeatedly remove servers (already done it a bunch of times)
it's pretty damn obvious that this list is public and if you don't want your server there, don't submit it. it only exists because SMP is incredibly basic right now, it's not supposed to be the perfect solution.

24/7 server dedicated. No griefing the server or face permnant ban. Donations gladly accepted for server uptime hosting costs. Donations of $10 or higher will get you admin status with summons capabilities. You gain trust to summons for free but you have to play on the server respectfully for a few days.

I'm waiting for notch to release a better multiplayer build where furnaces are working. At that time, it will be a strict server, but for now, it's just for messin'.

Might I suggest requiring the person to be coming from the IP they wish to post the server for?
(And then giving them the option to remove the server if their IP matches?)
(Might also want to do a quick check then to make sure lynx doesn't barf on the page for people who run headless servers without all that window manager stuff cluttering up the CPU and memory.)

Hey all, Just thought id jump in and say my server is still up and running. Any are welcome. plus with some quick fixes to problems on the server(such as furnaces) Anti griefing tools and methods are in place. Server also has over a 99% uptime(goes down for 30 seconds each day to try to keep the server clean but back up within 1 minute.)
All are welcome and free to join :smile.gif:. Also working on Improving the bandwidth as well. As an estimate however, the server should be able to run with 30 or more just fine.(has been at 25 people with little to no lag)

As has been said by Notch on multiple occasions, the current version is very basic and was only released due to popular demand. The final version will verify names, it will also be "good". If you want your money back send an email to [email protected] (as long as it's been under 30 days) but I don't see why you would, the reason you paid should, in part, be to support Notch :sad.gif:
Can you please add support for dns? I would rather give a static address so it can be auto-updated whenever my ip changes instead of having to reupload my server to the list. If not I guess I will create my own server directory later on.
Ive noticed that some of the server get kicked off the list, even though they are online(admittedly been mine twice so fat in a week and a half) Is there any reason why they are getting knocked off?

Instead of using an IP address my server uses a domain name which works too.
