I'm fairly prolific, I suppose, but I'm too self-conscious to share most of it. That which I do share is probably found on my website. Here's some of my better stuff.
What might be of particular interest to those of this forum is my pixel art tutorial.
While you totally traced that Freeman, it was still some good shading. And from your crude charicature I can infer you're a cute person of indeterminant gender with an oval face.
As fo the rest of it, it's interesting, I suppose, but I don't really know how one gives a critique on abstract squiggles made of lotion. Might make a neat background.
Yes, I traced Freeman, so sue me :tongue.gif: I wanted some practice with cel-shading, and to work with vector graphics.
Yeah, Zuriki, that's all I could do in 10 minutes. I've never had to work with a time limit, before. Normally, an image will eat up days of my time... Not to mention, about 6 of those minutes must have been spent hitting Ctrl-z. ^^*
Lilyo, I drew both of those, too. You can faintly see my logo in the bottom-right of the planet. My logo isn't in the Freeman picture, but I assure you, everything on my site is mine, unless I explicitly say otherwise. I've never seen that Flame Painter thing before, but it's pretty awesome! I'll have to play around with that some more in the future, see if I can do anything with it. Do you know if it can export at very high res?
For those curious about my caricature: It's just that, a caricature. Real, physical me is even taller and skinnier, to say nothing of body parts I couldn't draw very well within the time limit (you know, hands, feet, and so on). As for my "indeterminant gender", that's actually a very accurate description of me - I get that a lot "IRL".
I higly doubt you actually drew those, especially when comparing your self portrait with the other two. There's a differnece between drawing and just editing something in photoshop.
I find that /extremely/ insulting, Lilyo. As such, I'm calling you out on that accusation. Luckily for me, I still have the original files, which prove I made them. Want to see what the planet looked like before I distorted it into a sphere, added shading and an atmosphere, and drew the stars and nebula background?
As for the Freeman pic, how about I show just the shading layer?
So yes, I /do/ know the difference between drawing something and merely 'shopping it. And for my images, I created every pixel. I hope everyone forgives me for this outburst, but... Go to hell, Lilyo.
The way you phrased it, you were claiming that not only do I not have the skill and talent to make the pictures, but /also/ that I had plagiarized them (and thus, I'd a liar, too) - a grave insult to both my abilities and my integrity.
Once more, you're comparing a picture that I spent two days on, versus one I had a limit of 10 minutes to draw. Additionally, freehand drawing is not one of my stronger skills - there's a reason most of my stuff is abstract or otherwise avoids me having to draw anything (the planet was made entirely out of manipulation of cloud filters, for example). You can't take someone's worst piece of art, compare it to one of their best pieces, and say that's proof they didn't make the better one. Hey, here's an idea - Maybe, just maybe, people get better at art over time?
"I'm sorry if I have my doubts" is present tense... Is that supposed to mean you don't withdraw your accusation?
Had*
I'm sorry you got offended, it's just that i've seen WAY to many people go around and say they "drew" something when all they did was add some crappy ass c4d or something like that in photoshop.

Just me?
Damn.

The only criticism I have on the freeman drawing is that the nostril-face line is too hard. Makes him look kinda weird.
NOTa lie and who knew sound could cut woodwith this
there really is no comparison.
I hope you get what I'm saying. I wasn't trying to insult you.
