Ok, someone requested that I post this, after seeing my rather dissapointing airship at the Daro.
I realise that there is not much variety in the materials uses but you must realise that this was built on a legit server. It took a LONG time to get that much iron.
I hope this works for you, I am posting this from my iPhone.

Originally this was used as a blueprint, however, our design is quite a bit longer and has some major differences.
This is our first model. When we went and rebuilt this again it's quite radically different. I'll post screenshots of the 3.0 model when it's done.
Also, this bothers me alot as the original save file was given to me by a friend who told me it was his own. I will have to abandon this project and begin something far grander.

Even so, posting a photo here and saying that you built it, when in fact your friend gave it to you and told you it was his, is not a very honest way to go about getting whitelisted. Also note that 99% of the time, you need to build something in game, on our server, to get whitelisted.
Hey guys, it's FrankieTheNomad AGAIN with a city/ small town proposal. I'm trying to find a place, and I'll tell you if I find one. I'm going to have cloth floors, wood walls, stone outlines for the walls. I will have kitchens and bedrooms, and living rooms, all that good stuff. I'm going to try for a 3 wide by 5-7 tall wooden wall around the town, with outlines of logs and fences maybe and Stone. Please consider it, And sorry NeutronRocks for all that sniping trouble. Not trying to be ungrateful, but I want to be part of a continent. (But FANTASTIC sniping for that island. All yours.)

Hey, so my life is going to be pretty busy for a few weeks so I may not be on a lot, and if I do get a chance to come on than it may just be for a short visit.
Hello. First off I'm going to say that this is my first time posting on any forum so bare with me....lol.
Anyway, I have already recieved permission to build a city at (-2668, 846) on the continent of Venificus thanks to one of the city's contributors Qaheirxz. The city is similar to an Ancient Greek or Roman type city, yet some aspects of the city are much more modern. I understand that the city Aerios is a Greek-style city, but I can assure you that my city is not a copy or a cheap knock-off of Aerios...Greek architecture is one of my favorite types of architecture. (It looks nothing like Aerios)
The materials for this city should be self-explainatory since it is a Greek-Roman style city: Pillars, Half and double stone blocks, water, lapis ore (white Brick block), and occasionally wood type blocks. I am currently looking for any member that wants to contribute in building this city; I have two members that are helping right now with me and ratpoison35 as Lead Architects. Thanks For Reading!
So if anybody is looking for a co-builder for their city im open. Mine didnt get accepted, but I thought it'd be cool to work on one. Or if any body is looking for help for a project im open. Either send me a pm here or in game and I'll help.

Come check out our city! We could always use more help. coords are (-2668, 846) if your interested.

The save file given to me by a friend was not complete, the hull was not as long nor the bow complete. I radically changed this and made it my own, even going so far as to add interior cabins.
I would say that finishing and refining an abandoned build is enough to make it my own.
I realise that you must build something in game to get whitelisted. But I posted this here because I mentioned it while I began building by small airship at the Daro.

I don't believe your seeing the point here, somebody built atleast half of this, if not more; you just finished it. you may have made a cabin, thrown some details ect. but you didn't do this on your own and we can't have a garuntee that your builds will always be this good because you took over a project somebody else started. We want to see something that you built yourself, not something you copied, edited or altered. Its just a bad way to go around your whitelist build.
My idea for a town is some kind of hidden ocean city of sorts. Like the town and the island its on can be hidden by water or something else. Still just toying with the idea. Still trying to find a good location. Drawn up some plans already and just wanted to hear what you guys thought.

We have a large number of oceanic builds going on now, a number of which are a lot like what you are describing. You should be careful to do this in a very original manner because personally I don't like the idea of another atlantis or project syzygy :tongue.gif:. Its really easy to over-do this kind of thing.
Ok, sounds good. I didn't know this kind of thing had been done before. So ill go back to the drawing board. I also like Greco/Roman type style cities, but i k now for sure that this has already been done. So maybe I'll try and find a why to make it unique and one of a kind....hehehehehe

It isn't that you shouldn't do it, I'm just saying that you should be careful how to do it. In fact I think we should use up more of the ocean space we have seeing as it is an often overlooked area on the map. Just a friendly warning when it comes to the water. Good luck :smile.gif:
Um, sorry if it really is your build, just that I have seen the exact same ship on a public world save made 5 months ago. http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/ ... rship-142/
also, @KupoKupo so is that a no or a maybe?

Aren't you a guest? I could have sworn I saw you in the Daro this morning as a guest...
