I'd like to propose a palace at the coordinates (-2200, 3580) this is a hilly desert area bordering a forest, its near bobbyfeta's Las Voxel site but barely visible. I'm picking this spot because there is hardly any desert left to use that isn't in view of something else built. I'm still deciding materials, but it will be a desert theme.
Behold, the abstract subway-style map of Pangea! To help you practically decide which connections to take to arrive where you want to as efficiently as possible.
I only included larger builds that had at least one connection (some smaller builds are included if they are transit junctions). Sorry if I left anybody out important - I have the photoshop file with layers and can change things.

EDIT: added portal trains, a missed air link, and New Astoria
EDIT: much smaller version...

I'm just wondering after trying to log in for the twentieth time just about, why there are only 10 guest slots when mainly the most players online on a daily basis consist of guests & Ops? I've seen influxes of members on from time to time, but for the most part it is the guests sticking in their slots for the longest period.
I'm just wondering after trying to log in for the twentieth time, whose idea was it to only have 10 guest slots when mainly the most players online on a daily basis consist of guests & Ops?
Our main priority must be to our members. If our priority was not for our members, then the server wouldn't function. People can't do intensive building with an uncapped guest limit, because as soon as you get logged off, you sometimes can't get back on for 10 minutes. Nothing significant would ever get built, and there would be no point in having a server anymore.
The guest limit makes sure that members are not getting logged off constantly, so that they can focus on making the fantastic builds that make the VoxelBox great.
"What about guests? How can they build while getting logged off constantly?" You ask. yes, that is annoying for the guests, however guests are not making 7 different 3-week long huge city builds. They are making 3-4 hour Daro builds. Getting logged off a handful of times in the process of finishing your Daro build is not that bad, and is something that is reasonable to deal with for the short period of time that you are a guest (assuming you are good enough to be whitelisted).
Edit: Also, it is not a 10 guest limit. We change the limit depending on how many members are trying to log on. It could be higher or lower than that, because we do care about having an optimal blend of member building ability and chances given to guests.

Very nice! We need this badly, start digging! :wink.gif:
Finally finished the FTL Airways advert. As promised, PM me (on the wiki please) for the link.
EDIT: Never mind, it's on the wiki now on my page and the FTL Airways page.
Thank you list:
-Presontae, for putting up with my rambling and being the actor in the advert (on the other hand, I now owe him 5 buildings and a backstory for his town :biggrin.gif:)
-Gavjenks, for saving me 20 minutes by tp-ing me to Pelanum Quarry (or maybe it was someone else? Not sure who it was)
-Plusnine, for replying and approving my request so quickly
-my_nemesis12, for letting me use Pelanum Quarry and edit blocks there for the purposes of this video (I will fix the 3 misplaced blocks within the next 24 hours)
-Sapirot, for giving me a slogan (even though I didn't use it)
-FTLspawn, for building the Progenitor and founding FTL Airways, the inspiration for this advert and also approving this
-ridgedog, for running the server in the first place and not taking it down on Monday
-przerwap, for lots of various important stuff
End of thank you list, if I missed anyone, EDIT: Hurr duur, I just noticed I don't know how to PM on the wiki :tongue.gif:

Claiming the (-3120, 320) mountain area for castle building. That place looks amazing to build on, and I have some great ideas. If there's a problem with that let me know.

That is a handmade voxelvalley, by plusnine and company. The other voxel valley elsewhere is a natural parkland and is prohibited from builds of any kind, so there is a good chance that this one also has some sort of restrictions on it.
At the very least, you're gonna have to probably get explicit approval and give us a LOT more information than "I have some ideas for castle stuff" to build in that particular prime location. As in, detailed descriptions of what sort of castle exactly, and some sketches for people to look over.

I'm just wondering if ELEVn is on holiday or anything like that as I sent him 2 messages about appealing my ban (he mistaked me for covering up a sign or doorway in xezone9944's whitelist build) and he hasn't responded. I sent the first one 4 days ago and the second one 2 days ago.
If anyone can give me information, that'll be great. Its been annoying not being able to go on the server.
Thanks!
Hey guys,
I've pretty much wrapped up my development in Auxium and I'm looking to have a new city project. At the coordinates -2200 4700 I was wondering if I could terraform a swampy region (mostly utilizing the splatter brushes, and it would have some dry plateaus in it too) and create a city of builds on "stilts" almost. Around that spot I have a tiny sample of the palette (just big enough to convey the theme). The city name would be Lustria, and coldevil123 and DobaCrafter may be doing a little bit of help there as well.
Thanks,
-NeutronRocks

It is so weird that you are thinking of building a city on stilts! I was just down at the beach last week and was admiring all of the lovely stilt homes and thinking about how to incorporate them into Minecraft. I really hope this gets approved, I think it would be an awesome addition to Pangea. Let me know if you want a hand, I'm floating around a lot right now.

Sweet! Lots of people want to help out wit this, so I think I'm going to set up a nice swampy region with a lake for it, and I'll try to get it open for building ASAP (if it get accepted).
I'd be willing to also do this in Lemuria, since there's more room there.

Scale is a little off too in terms of sizing, but that's the general idea. Thoughts?
Note that the structures on the right are further forward; the shaded areas indicate a recession in the cliff face that will have hanging elements.
EDIT: The middle area is a bridge spanning the gap. A castle structure is partially incorporated into the bridge itself and also supported by massive vertical columns. The waterfalls would run under this structure.
I was banned for some reason, and I emailed the support yesterday, and I had a coversation for a few emails, and it seemed that the person I was speaking with would fix it. I emailed the account again early today, because I found myself still banned, and have awaited a response. If anyone would respond, it would be much appreciated.

I'm a pretty terrible sketch artist, but the basic design would be something akin to what I've drawn here:

Actually, VoxelGOD pooped on it and destroyed it.
Same In-game name as here.
