As it is a caste system, your parents being from two different ones would be next to impossible as all elves follow and live by the caste system and would enforce such things. Not to mention what sort of half breeds that would come of such things. There were a few other things wrong or just inaccurate with your application, but it demonstrated that you could indeed RP well. I will point those mistakes out now. - There are no orcs in existence, therefore you cannot fear them. (There are however giants and other such beasts) - Demon/Life Giving also is not mentioned in the lore of this server whatsoever. While it may help with a character it has no place in this such environment. - It will be hard for you as Orai’stanne as they are gifted magic users who have been put down by the other castes as servants and by humans as prostitutes. Very nice, (it's alright with the similar application, you did a very good job at editing it to fit this server's lore) Question #2 is actually they were overthrown by another caste and eventually become what are known as "Dark Elves". Otherwise, this is a superb application. Accepted

I wouldn't worry - the taxonomical term for the elves is Olken (The human counterpart would be homosapien ) not sure what version of the Lore you read. We've got spoiler issues on the first post, so the actual lore is spread across the topic. The final, full version of the elven Lore I've posted somewhere on page 10. Hopefully that'll give you some insight.

The reason for his clothing is simply because it’s convenient to fight in and was fairly easy to obtain if he needed another pair.

Backstory (More than 5 sentences): Turgon Séregon is a large, brutish, warrior from the north, who was raised in a simple village and was the son of a Blacksmith. As a child, from the days he could walk, he was taught that he must pull his own weight and be of use to the clan, thus he was taught the craft of Blacksmithing. Although Turgon’s true desire existed elsewhere, this was in perfecting his strength and becoming a great warrior, to bring honour to the Norse. Thus during his days, Turgon worked the blazing embers of his fiery forge and created weapons of expert skill from a young age, and during his nights he would sneak into the dark, shadow encrusted woods and practice his sword and axe skills, with weapons carefully handcrafted to perfection by none other than himself.
Soon the amount of time he would spend in seclusion, deep in the woods increased and his routine and dream, turned into a deep obsession, he even forgot the reason why he practiced with the axe and sword, and only felt the urge to do so. Then one fateful day, while tending to his blazing embers within the forge, a message came from a village elder and in this letter it told of how Turgon’s father had passed away in a duel with a younger warrior. Although this would seem something horrific and revenge worthy to other people, to the Norse this was a common event and was how many personal and family disputes were dealt with. Thus Turgon thought nothing of it and saw it as his father dying an honourable death.
Turgon, also seen this as a chance to leave the village and pursue a more free life, one of chance, glory and honour. This lead him to thinking that he would create tales of magnificent and awe inspiring battles, captivating legends and stories of unbelievable feats.
Thus with nothing anchoring him to the village, he left with whatever he could carry on his large broad back, and set off to create his own destiny.
After a few years, Turgon was found in an Order of Knights that claim to serve under some false Gods, but what was undeniable was their skill in the sword and is why you can pretty much guess why Turgon joined them, but as the world went on famine and plague ravaged the lands and even the Order he belonged to vanished within this maelstrom of events, so with no were to go and nothing to call his own but the armour on his back, he sought a new home and a new path to follow.
Thus his path for mastery has lead him to a new land and a new destiny and so he went to the lands his ancestors immigrated to many years ago to escape the famine and plague and just like they did, he now follows in their very footsteps to the lands of Darkahlen.
RP Example: Turgon: So you’re already trained in archery I hear? Well let’s see what you have in you, hit that target seventy five meters away and for God’s sake try and hit the middle.
Alros nodded gently, and drew back his bow an astonishing length that even the bow itself creaked under the pressure. He then released his hand and the arrow furiously penetrated the wind in a swift burst of amazing speed, in a mere moment the arrow hit on target and Turgon faced the instructor.
Turgon: humph, there I was expecting something special, any second rate archer in our units can hit the edge of a target like that, you’re dismissed.
Alros walked away into the crowed encampment and swiftly vanished from vision. Turgon walked towards the Target and stopped for a moment in awe, as the arrow had pierced through the target itself and followed straight threw into a tree which it had severely damaged.
Turgon: -A wickedly sinister grin grows upon Turgon’s face- To do this with a bow of that calibre requires a fair amount of talent...Heh, maybe I can shape that recruit into a fine archer just yet.

2. We are not even getting Mine & Blade Battlegear mod for the weapons, but for some other features(some of which he cancelled )
3. Both of these mods would require players to download to play on the server while our custom plugin only requires players to use spout ( and you don't even need to do that)

It's ok, just a few mistakes. You should have put Humans in what race you are, ethnicity is what human ethnic group you come from. So since you are starting in Ashburton I would think you want to be Casterian? Also, you can't make it "more" human. If you are human, it would have to be human completely. Unless you wish to be a halfling(Elf-human half-breed, falls under elven applications).
But, as it is these are very minor things and will be ok as long as you correct them in game. Accepted

I'm also looking for a server that that has a rich, interesting lore and full of well-developed characters - where you won't be randomly killed if you happen to go away from the computer for a few minutes.

Backstory (More than 5 sentences):
[Just so you know, for every RP server, the backstory of my characters normally are similar. I've written this from and OOC perspective, and I've kept it quite “brief”]
It was last in spring when the baby was born, and her mother called her "Rosilyna" for her roses had begun to bloom that very day. Word within the town was that a merchant, one of the finest of the land, had been travelling from settling to settling searching for an apprentice of whom he would teach all he knew, and to carry on his own business when he grew old. He had been searching for a child, no older than three; so whom he would pick would leave their family and have no knowledge or memories of them, as this was a lifetime commitment. The merchant had been looking for preferably a boy, one of great heritage; however, most men did not want their children to be sent to become a merchant, and would rather have them to become hunters, butchers, and other professions alike. Slowly, the merchant grew to accept that he may need to begin searching for a girl.
Rosilyna's family was never well off, and when the news of the merchant came to them, they saw it as a great opportunity. A girl would never be able to supply the family as well as a boy would, and Rosilyna, at this dreadful age, did nothing but use up precious resources which would better be used for other means. When the merchant arrived in the town, the parents of Rosilyna took her to him, as did few other families with their own infants. The moment the merchant laid his eyes upon Rose's mother, he fell deeply in love with her for her immaculate beauty. Knowing full well the life of a merchant did not involve love, and that this beautiful woman had already a husband and many children, he was left utterly heartbroken. He made the rash choice in his sadness to take Rosilyna as his apprentice, in hope that the girl would grow up to equal beauty of her mother (and that she did).
That day, Rosilyna left her family with nothing but the fine baby clothes she wore, and the golden bracelet around her wrist, of which her mother gave her secretly, hoping that one day Rosilyna would remember her family, and return to them. For the many years to come, Rosilyna was taught everything the old merchant knew, until the day came he passed away, leaving Rosilyna on her own;
And that is where her story begins.

Rosilyna: *making full eye contact with him* Bread, paper, books… things like that. *tilts her head to the side*
Man: I’ve needed some bread. How much are you selling a loaf?
Rosilyna: 25 (currency?) *smiles*
Man: 25 (currency?)!! Are you kidding me
Rosilyna: Oh no sir! I don’t think you understand. This is the finest bread of all the land – guaranteed to make you strong and healthy.
Man: *thinking about it* I don’t know…
Rosilyna: Alright, sir, I’ll make it 20. But only for you! *smiles*

Despite the collapse of the Elven Kingdom, the casting system continues to exist within the society of elves, which in turn hinders advancement of elves as individuals, as such preventing them from rising in social status.

After searching throughout the lore I concluded that Elves do not have a taxonomic term, unless "Elves" itself is their name.
4. What is the average wind-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
What do you mean? African or European swallow? Licentia & Locatio.
Very nice, (it's alright with the similar application, you did a very good job at editing it to fit this server's lore) Question #2 is actually they were overthrown by another caste and eventually become what are known as "Dark Elves". Otherwise, this is a superb application.

Why not get Balkon's weapon mod instead of blade battle gear? Balkon's weapons contain
-Crossbows
-Muskets (Craftable attachments such as bayonet)
-War Hammers
-Battle Axes
-Spears
-Ball and chain (Not sure the technical name for it)
-Practice dummies (Never break from weapon damage)
AND A BUNCH OF OTHER STUFF I AM TOO LAZY TO WRITE!

been playing with it for a while now and its still not boring

No it's fine, it is ok to ask questions and I am glad to answer.
1. Because we are getting it for more then extra weapons.
2. We are not even getting Mine & Blade Battlegear mod for the weapons, but for some other features(some of which he cancelled
3. Both of these mods would require players to download to play on the server while our custom plugin only requires players to use spout ( and you don't even need to do that)
And for a few other misc. reasons. I hope this answered any questions you had.

It's ok, just a few mistakes. You should have put Humans in what race you are, ethnicity is what human ethnic group you come from. So since you are starting in Ashburton I would think you want to be Casterian? Also, you can't make it "more" human. If you are human, it would have to be human completely. Unless you wish to be a halfling(Elf-human half-breed, falls under elven applications).
But, as it is these are very minor things and will be ok as long as you correct them in game.
