This is a greylist server. You must apply for build rights, but you can connect, look around the server, and chat without having to apply.

The Exalted Minecraft server is a simple server using very few plugins. We seek to provide an experience as close to vanilla Minecraft as possible, with a few tweaks here and there to promote creativity and community. We have basic protective and administrative plugins (Essentials, WorldGuard, etc), and simple plugins for players to interact with, such as ChestShop and iConomy. We do not restrict any accessible area of the Minecraft server, either. You are free to battle the Enderdragon (in fact, we reset him a week after he dies) and pillage the strongholds. We do employ a greylist to prevent griefers from showing up, which is easily passed by applying here.
Something of Note
Lava damage, TNT, and fire spread are enabled in the wild. They are turned off by default in towns and they can be disabled in regions that admins have protected for you.
Additionally, Nether Portals are disabled because of how the teleportation scaling works in the Nether. Instead, we have a publicly available Nether pit at spawn which will teleport you into the Nether if you jump into it. Towns with a population of 5 players or more will get their own special Nether portal (which they may design themselves). This portal can teleport players to a location of the Mayor's choosing.
Plugins
We use the following plugins:
Lockette - An easy way to secure your chests, furnaces, doors, etc.
Essentials - Gives you access to a few useful commands.
WorldGuard - Admins will protect your builds for you! At further request, we will turn off TNT, fire spread, and lava damage.
Towny - Easy community living with a few extra features!
iConomy & ChestShop - An economy for players to interact and trade through.
Improved Silk Touch - We have slightly modified Silk Touch to allow you to grab a few extra things. Spawners are still off limits!
We have a very comprehensive list of rules available to you on the server. You are not required to read it, but if you're feeling confused or paranoid, or have any questions, go ahead and read them. A short list is available below, which you are also not required to read. Please, be aware, that even if you do not read the rules, you are subject to every single aspect of them.
Hacking, griefing, evading punishment, and the abuse of exploits to gain a significant advantage
will all result in an instantaneous permanent ban.
Racism, sexism, and harassment of other players will not be tolerated under
any circumstance, anywhere, at any time.
Respect all other players and their wishes, even if you do not necessarily like them.
Always ask before you act.
PvP is strictly consentual. While PvP is enabled, we trust our players to behave.
Controversial topics (Religion, Politics, Current events, ect) are permitted to be discussed so long as all parties remain calm, cool and collected. Attacking another player ad hominem is not permitted in these discussions.
Respect other's opinions, but feel completely free to discuss and debate them.
Guest - A guest has no build rights; they may chat and look around. This is the rank you have prior to being greylisted.
New - This is the rank you reach after getting on the greylist. You can not light a fire, place TNT, or empty a lava bucket onto the world. Fire charges in your possession will be confiscated by the server.
Member - Upon reaching this rank, you gain access to the use of Flint & Steel, and Fire Charges will no longer be revoked from your inventory.
Veteran - This rank gains access to the placement of lava and the usage of TNT.
Admin - This is the administrative rank. These players run the server and are here to help you, but please don't forget that they are human beings too and they love a good game of Minecraft as well!

Age: We do not have a minimum age requirement. However, it is nice to have this on our books for a few reasons. We make all our judgements strictly on maturity. We will punish an immature adult before we do the same to a mature, yet young player. We do ask that if you are under 13 years of age, be aware that we have little restriction on foul language.
