Most of you probably wonder where I went, and lots of you probably won't see this, and have forgotten of NatureCraft. As all things in life, I got bored and had to move on. I never forgot about any of you, and I sometimes cry when I look through my photobucket and see all the pictures I took along the year. There's an hour left until 2012 and I just wanted to say that 2011 was the best year of my life.
It's hard to imagine that NatureCraft started January 6th, 2011. I joined MineCraft December 17th (As you see from my profile) and would never have thought I would go through as much as we did on this silly little game. My one goal with NatureCraft when it started was to make lots of new people and get a few bucks from it (jokes :tongue.gif:). There has been a lot of people who impacted my life and whom I'll never forget. For the past couple of days I've been wondering why I'm so lost and bored, and just now I realized how Minecraft made me who I am.
I haven't been on this thread since I last posted (Mid October) because it just keeps bringing up nostalgia and I can't take thinking of all the fun I had. I'm sorry I left all of you without saying anything, I just never could.
I love all of you more than you can imagine. From the V1 veterans to people still trying to join, it's pretty hard to think it all had to end
Grat, when you stopped running the server i hated you, I vowed revenge, but overtime I realized each lesson you taught me said otherwise.
This server shaped who I am and who I want to be, each person changed my life, in a small or big way.
With AG teaching me Kindness With Odarkstar teaching me Open-mindedness With Reptile teaching me how to Forgive & Forget With Redted teaching me Responsibility (Believe it or Not) With lodo teaching me There are people you can truly count on With PhanTango teaching me to Cherish simple things With Sea teaching me Maturaty isn't affected by age With Flax teaching me Fun starts with friends With Silver teaching me Maturity doesn't mean no fun : D With Bull teaching me If it doesn't work just keep trying similar things till it looks like it works And with Grat teaching me that even though life may be stressful and full of hardwork, the happiness of others proves the validity of your hardwork.
And all that said I miss you all, and with tears in my eyes I will never forget the year that changed my life the year where I had the short chance to be with everyone, and realize the real meaning of Life. To enjoy and cherish the times and people who make you happy.
Goodbye, I hope everyone lives their lives to the fullest!
Since everyone here is posting stories about how this server changed their lives, I thought I'd do one too. The first server I ever played on, called "BlockParty" closed down a month before I joined up with The Empire. I was really sad and had made great friends on that server, and I thought "I'll never find another like it." Well I did, and it was with you guys.
I may not be the best builder, the best player, a brony, or a Naturecraft veteran, but you guys gave me a family. I'll never forget the few times I saw you on the server Grat, I won't forget helping others build mob traps and such, and I especially won't forget the flying sheep and flood of squid that AG brought upon my house. I will write a story about that someday, I promise, so keep an eye out on the forums.
Anyways, as short as my time was on this server, I will always remember it fondly and with the best and funniest memories. I plan to keep an eye out for all of you on MinecraftForums, and I do hope we meet again.

NatureCraft was my first Minecraft server and I have to say the funnest times I had in Minecraft was on NatureCraft. From when I first joined, when I got mod I was happy as hell, but when my friends left it started going downhill. After they left I got mod either in v2/v3 (don’t remember correctly) Being a mod was fun as hell and I got a lot more respect than normal. After being a mod for a while I finally got admin, everything was cool and I enjoyed myself and everything that went on. Sometime during adminship I gained enough trust to get console access and power to restart Grats VPS. This went on for a while but NatureCraft just began to bore me not to long after this. I say if you are an admin on a server, request the owner to not allow you to spawn items before it is too late.
Being admin on NatureCraft and running it (basically) without final say taught me how to run a server. From this knowledge I created NovaCraft which will grow but some things I have changed from NatureCraft is that there is NO spawn for others what so ever. I believed this was one of the major flaws of NatureCraft. Well that and some abusive admins (won't name people). In my mind, without these NatureCraft would still be up.
-This post may make you think, "Why is he posting this", but the reason I posted it is to show how important NatureCraft was to me :smile.gif: <3
I will always miss NatureCraft and the community it formed :sad.gif: only if things could go back to when NatureCraft was one of the small amounts server with plugins. Back in Hey0's time.

Damn guys, I wish I had the patience to write paragraphs upon paragraphs... and then reply WITH paragraphs. :ohmy.gif:!
All I have to say is, ever since NC closed, I haven't played minecraft. Literally, I did, but I failed to enjoy it. As they know, I still talk to GRATLOFATIC, and SILVA WULF, RED, and SEA. (Yes, I capitalized their names, shush.) I will admit I tried to search for new servers, and I couldn't. Maybe it was because I didn't want to meet new people, or maybe I was just bored of minecraft all together. I think I didn't want to meet new people because I already had you guys. I CAN contact you guys, I CAN say "Hello!" without being judged on my building skill or lack of eloquence. Meanwhile the new server is me saying "Hello!" while everyone else is "hi" and in some other distant world other then my own.
I remember v7 of Nature Craft. Some say they disliked it, I for one loved the **** out of it. I had that fully functional secret base under my cliff home.. :tongue.gif: Flooded it time to time. The random winters and super-snowfalls around the spawn, Ponies, Huge cliffs, odark's huge freaking mansion, the conveniently placed snow biome. LIFE, and much much more, oh, and not to mention that feeling of finding our settling location in that version. So many mountains. T.T
I also remember when I had first joined. 20 seconds in v6. The rest in v7, v8, then TEv1. I spawned, looked around, and immediately felt welcome, not intrusive, but welcome. :ohmy.gif: I think the first person I saw was Sea. :biggrin.gif: After that, boom, v7. There may have been a few bumps on the road, but compared to the mountains of fun I've had, they are nothing but puddles.
Thanks for the great time!
This server may not have been the first I played on, but it was definitely the most fun and memorable. When I first joined, I didn't expect to stay. I was simply trying out different servers to try and find one that fit me best. I walked around a bit, explored the EPIC spawn building (v6), and talked to some of the players. I decided that I'd stick around because I liked what I saw. I found a huge plot of land (obviously world edited) and started to build a house. I started to spend more and more time on the server and my small house turned into a huge 20x20 (maybe larger), 3-story mansion. I enjoyed talking to everyone, and eventually I decided that I would call this server home.
When NatureCraft closed down, I was really sad. Many fun times were had, but the server had a good life, and I'm glad it went out strong. Then The Empire came. It was nice at first, but it just couldn't replicate NC.
Overall, I had a lot of fun with you guys, and will never forget all the time we shared. I'm starting to play on redted44's server (NovaCraft), so if you want to play with me again, I'll be there. You can also chat with me on Steam (Profile).
Well, since my short happy new year message probably doesn't count, here's my story.
Back when Naturecraft was in v2, I had posted my app to join the server. It took a while, but Grat accepted it - it took so long in fact that they had just switched to v3. As soon as I joined v3 I was invited to come dig an artificial chunk error, which was my first project with people on Naturecraft. Not just a few people dug, but literally the whole server. In v3, the whole server meant about 30-50 people. I didn't do many important things in v3, however I created a trading post which many people... er... traded. At. I befriended some people - Gamer_Stix, UndeadNecro, Tikemike, Flaxative, Squii, and more that I've probably missed. I was pretty much ignored by all mods and admins. :tongue.gif:
V4 happened about a month after v3 went down. I totally forget what happened but Grat had some problem with the server. In v4, I started up my trading post business again, and not much else. v4 was ultimately one of the best versions of naturecraft, besides v3. I remember in v4 that I started teaching people runecraft lessons for the fun of it. It was in v4 that one of the admins, Get_Knifed808 told Grat that he thought I'd be a good mod. So grat promoted me to mod and everyone loved me for some reason (O_o.)
V5 laptop broke. Tried to get on with mac but mac was really old and wouldn't cut it. However some of the members made a trading post as a way to remember me.
V6... It was probably our longest version, but frankly, I don't remember much. I'm pretty sure a lot of the people I talk to a lot now joined around then - Sanchezz7, ApertureGLaDOS, and SilverWulf. You can guess that I created another trading post.
V7 was pretty terrible, I'll admit. Grat had made me admin at the last moment of v6 where I killed myself in all posible ways, haha (remember that Grat? :3.) So with admin powers, everything was pretty dang boring. I could create a house without placing a single block with worldedit, or just spawn all the blocks. It was in v7 though that I made my famous mansion. It got pretty good reviews from the critics (ie odark and a few other random people. xD)
So yeah, I barely remember v7 or 8. I didn't get on TE much because my teachers are giving me work 2 grade levels above mine, so I'm really busy.
Webs deleted my nc photo album. That's about it. Bye guys - Squii, reptilelover, gamingrichy, grat, ag, silver, splifff, san, and many more. Have a nice 2012. If you want to talk to me here is my steam profile http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198019021094/

I guess I should say goodbye. I'm sorry that I just left out of the blue, but I had gotten bored with minecraft and I think my laptop broke shortly after. My forgetfulness stopped me from saying goodbye, plus I had lost the link.
I come back today to find the server gone again. I was one of the first to join the server (First day?) and I made a small house in the castle during V1 and not much else. V2, I don't remember. V3, attempted to build a mansion and failed. Then the server went down, And I left. The server later came up, but I was not aware. Then fast-forward to V6, I came back and I believe I was more active than before. I tried making another mansion as well, and got pretty far, but still ultimately failed. Then V7, made a small house near the spawn, accidentally, and began making a melon farm. While making the farm I started to drift away from minecraft and this server and eventually completely.
I'm glad I came to this server, it gave me something to do when I got home, something to look forward to, and I met nice people. If the server starts up again, I may join, as I've started playing minecraft again, but only time will tell. Goodbye everyone. If you would like to Know where I've gone, I've gone to Audiotool.com, a online music making community, with the same account name.

I think I joined up in NatureCraft in v6. Instantly I was having a blast. I never did get anything done though... I'm too easily distracted. XD
I think the most I ever did was helped out with some redstone stuff in silverwulf's shopping mart in v7(?) and simpleman's house.
I wish I had more to say, but words simply can't describe it. This picture sums up my emotions pretty well, though.
Sorry, it's a little big, but I guess that fits too.
It's peanut butter jelly time!
