Role Play Character Name: Kog Quarrywarrior
Character Race: (See below) dwarf
Character Description:a small scruffy dwarf that has brown hair and a long bearded and has a taste for gold.
Character Bio:kog is a simple dwarf that does not really trust anyone except for his friends.
He hates demons because of their long horns. So don’t mess with kog because he will find were you living!
Character History:kog was born among a dwarven king and queen. Growing up in his birth town of crathisa all of the peasants didn’t pay attention to him. But he came upon a thief a tall scruffy looking elf. So he talked to him and he was part of a guild called the thieves guild.
So he traveled with the elf back to the thieves’ guild and quickly learned the ways of the thieves. But at last his parents sent someone to recover him but he was nowhere to be found!
But he was still alive! He was just in this strange world that people called it immortalus.
Weirdly he started noticing all kinds of strange things. Then he thought it looked like home.
He thought to himself, “this must be the future." "When i walked through the portal i found in the cave it must have transported me here." so he settled out and became one of the best known thieves alive in immortalus!
Character Class: (Described Below) theif
Place of Birth: (At this point you CANNOT be born in Immortalus, as only men have been there so far.) Crathisa
"I read rule 3: Cupcakes"
You've been harassing me all day, and I told you to make sure you read EVERYTHING you possibly could. You missed the part about not giving your character ANY experience off the boat.

I also told you this was your last chance to apply, so I'm sorry: But please don't bother applying again.
So I got curious/bored (it just so happens I sometimes do math when I get sleepy; my roommate can't stand it xD) and decided to take a census since for some reason it seemed like there was a lack of humans with an abundance of dwarves/elves along with a lot of dark mages. Here's what I found:
The above data includes everyone that I saw that wasn't outright rejected, listed at the top.
Humans are the largest group; twice the size of any of the other three, but the other three groups are similar in size. It seems we've got a pretty great population distribution, which is awesome since in most games you'll have like 11million humans, a little of this, a little of that, and then there's that one race that absolutely no one likes and you hardly ever see as a result.
As expected we have mostly Mages, but apparently just barely more Light than Dark mages. Also, it seems that no one yet has taken the Battle Monk class. Guess we'll see how that class turns out later on.

I bloody hate rain. Hate it. Irl as well as in minecraft. Went for a walk, got caught in a rainstorm, soaked to the bone, and was only just saved by copious amounts of Rosti (The swiss version of heaven). I now have a huge incentive to move my base to the nether.
Oh and minions, make fetish a cookie.
Dragon, tbh, I really don't know, but I guess it's to do with potions and gold and stuff.
On a lighter note, do y'all have any further screenies of the town to disclose to the public?
Also how shall acquiring a home in town work?
Are there restrictions to building outside of town?
In town? (Stay within lot limits, yes, but what about exterior themes? Can we modify the exterior look of our purchases house?)
What about citizens helping to develop the town further (i.e. build/expand upon y'all's work)?
Will there be anti-stealing measures in place? (lwc or something to that extent)
Well I'll be back within the hour and when I get back I will ask Kevin all of this(that is if he doesn't post first.) and possibly post a new photo, If any thing big is done. If not I'll get to work on the Mage guild and maybe the new arena.
Thinking more along this topic... You said, I believe, that demons were (currently) the only players allowed into the nether. Now if I remember my microeconomics correctly this means that there shall be a limited number of players allowed into the nether, and therefore only a select few players will be able to acquire and sell nether-related materials such like netherrack, glowstone, soul sand, and abundant amounts of lava. This would make those players quite wealthy assuming that other players wanted those materials badly enough. Now then, with that thought out of the way, assuming that demons could only teleport to the nether, but had to find another means with which to return it wouldn't be so bad given the compensation offered by being the primary suppliers of those aforementioned resources.).
It can't be that much of a problem. Demons would sure benefit from this and if there ever was an RP reason for non-netherfolk to go to hell, the setting could be deactivated for the time needed.
Plus, I know my character wouldn't dare come back there unless she became demented or got forced.

just being a demon could make you the richest pperson on here hehe
hello my friends i can not apply for imourtalus any more cause my application is never correct so this is my last time to speak to u so i just wanted to say goodbye and hope to see you later down the road like on another server possibly mine but seeya
Nah :tongue.gif: I'm sure everyone that actually wants the stuff will wait till they are able to go into the nether.
And yay for teh cookie!!!
You're welcome.
As for people waiting, I'm not so sure. Firstly, I do not have the patience to mine enough Obsidian to go to the nether, or perhaps i reallyneed 10 netherrack for my ultimate fortress of doom. Secondly, Demons could ensure a monopoly by destroying all the nether portals (If they work) they can find. (Fine, I'm giving them ideas, but really, I'm sure we can strike a deal ;D)
You know, I'm really starting to feel my character needs a mustache on the skin to represent my deviousness.

Edit: Bye piff.
Assuming the demons are looking in the nether for the portals and destroying those ones, then wouldn't players in the normal world just need to reignite the portal in their home to get it working again? Even if they popped up in my home and dismantled that portal instead (which would count as griefing me thinks) I could always just get more obsidian.
