Actually this is zombies. With zombie pigmen. This is like a newer version of medieval zombie siege, only better.

I agree on the insides of your fort. I think the fort should be 4 layers thick (made of cobblestone) so creepers can't explode when we are near to the walls. We should have lava pouring 2 blocks down from the ramparts, preventing any zombies getting near. The lava should empty into a moat. There should be tnt launchers (if we can LATER!!!!)
Towers are a necessity, one in each corner. The fort should be 7 blocks high, 18 long (or less long, depends how much space you need). Maybe we should make it into a star? Then there would be five towers. I think a star would would be better. Then each side would be 7 blocks long. That would be easily defendable too. We should have a secret entrance, covered over by three dirt blocks. It leads to inside the castle, but in sealed room with 4 layers of glass (the room is tiny) and a iron door. (Or 4 wooden doors)
There should be one more block on the outside of the wall.
