Here's another community succession map converted to Survival Mode, originally started by... well actually I can't remember who it was as the old forums are now gone.
Hi
EDIT: actually I'd it if that map was removed, I actually didn't like it, the castle was too small, plus I have a better one on a large map in the works right now.
EDIT2: I'd also like to note that if someone has that tomb map from the old forums I'd really appreciate it if they posted that, I think it would make an excelent survival map.
EDIT3: Of course I started it, notice:
the name Toy box: The level for General Guy's chapter in paper mario.
The big G on the front of the castle
My first Survivial map. It's a small map, with a natural floating sky-tree 0.o and a hidden valley. The pond is formed by a creeper explosion. There's a little cave system, too. Have fun...... I hope. Terrible spawn rate.
EDIT: Oh, and the name is Esomantia. Fun.

A good raider uses diamond tools. A good thief uses none at all.
Thanks. I wonder if nophys was fixed altogether? I'll give my other nophys map a try, but I recall Palisade was ALWAYS phys enabled so I don't know why I put that there >_>
edit // Nope, nophys maps continue to be that way - completely sans physics. Water does not flow.

"I want to see forum posts saying "how do i kill dragon" with replies reading "lol"."

new map! not edited yet, but a very cool map to play on. Ill be editing this one quite a bit. Its sort of strange. the more wreaked the map is the more i like it. Saying this would make you think im a griever, which im not.
Ruined

I had a server a while ago, and I decided to play it on survival. Try to defend Fort Feryll from oncoming hordes of undead (and spiders)! By the way, you can survive the fall from the airship, as long as you don't try to die from it, if you know what I mean.
I would also like to reccommend emgmod's Tunnel City. It has the perfect amount of mobs, which is a lot :tongue.gif: http://minecraft.net/survivaltest/?user=Feryll&id=4
A Normal size generated map, with an amazing cave system I found through Creepers. It's too the right Lots of lava, ore. I have some blocks on the file, but hey. Still fun as heck. Best played on medium fog.
A farm with a couple of sheep and a golden wall, a small base with windows to the outside, farm, tall barrier pit and middle section. A good number of trees, a staircase going up towards the rim of the base and a small section to see the mobs in a pit. :smile.gif:
The spawn is fairly fast so watch out. There is a mine at the back of the farm in the middle of the pond, go down and you will find the hole.
Here's a map i was playing on in survival, it's got a fortress i built to mine resources.
it has a huge store of sand and a mine, plus it has stone walls with closing 'doors'.
my clan, sword and hammer, is a group headed by me that puts your valuable skills to use.
if any of you would like to join, visit the clan page and look for sword and hammer.
if you would like to ask me any serious questions, then email me at [email protected].
I have a castle that is ready for use in indev (mine, mushroom farm, and normal farm all made), as well as includes a watchtower with a tree on top that can be used to alert the castle (opposite sides of map). The castle (unfinished) will include a few houses, the main quarters, and an underground cavern that will be unlit with torches. Enter at your own risk!
Will upload once I get it more finished (just finished castle floor)
EDIT - 3/11, 8:17 PM (central time)
Walls refurbished (loluwt). Guard towers added. Buildings complete. Alert system switched to dirt (still catches fire, right?). Cavern scoped out (and sponged, chasm goes underwater). Includes a few lakes left from the sponging and a lava pit that I found. Barricade set around watchtower.
(Um, lets see if this works...)
I made a really cool map once I first discovered MineCraft. I shaped this island to contain a small settlement and a puny little castle. It took 3 days. After about a month of playing, I decided to come back to my lovely Kernkrow Isle and refurbish it. This doubled the size of the castle, improved the look of the town a bit, added a small harbor, a mysyerious pyramid, and several well hidden passageways. That took 2 days. I think this shows my improvement. (No mods, either.)
I even made a backstory! (Im so proud :happy.gif:)
You wake on your red sued blankets. Theres a thin layers of fog blanketing the ground outside your window. Then you hear it. First a slight hissing sound, a twang, then a large explosion rocks your house. You jump to your feet and grab your bow. A block of TNT rests under your bed for this exact situation. You slowly walk out the front door with your bow at the ready. Your town is ominously quiet. After investigating the other two houses, you only come up with a few bits a cloth. You decide to wander your dear isle, looking for clues as to where they are...
