Hooray, I did it! And without the video =P Apparently, the skeletons had knocked me down before I unlocked one chute, so... =D However, before I could find the way out, creepers destroyed all of the glass tubes >_>
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Back in my day, sheep dropped brown mushrooms, and by golly we... Hated it, pretty much.

Yeah..if creepers "break" the dungeon, you should probably reload or -avoid- killing them.. try trapping them behind blocks if you can. Nothing you can really do in regards to those damn things
Well, i have to say im impressed :tongue.gif:
i beat all of the map so far, and it was very hard. but very, very rewarding. the lava doom forge thing is super epic win. its transcendent even. (i was dissapointed that it ended there tho, haha. it just stops...)
also, exited about the extended sky bridge and two towers of doom(?)
Well, it's just that the difficulty stayed relatively constant up to that point (barring a few jumps, namely that TOWER FFFFFF), and then it suddenly ramps up and goes "Hey, remember when this game was kinda forgiving? Yeah, neither do I."
I have a suggestion... change the red block after the water escape to a green one. I went through the level four times over before going a different direction underwater. It makes more sense, and you'll have players waste less time, because after the drop its essentially a no return because you already flooded the whole path. So basically the player can miss the key entirely and then be unable to continue, which is terrible game design.

!!IMPORTANT CHANGES!!
-- Changed the Red Block in the "empty sphere room" to a Green Block. This not only prevents you from getting out of the room but is a major hint that you need the Green Key, located in the flooded lava maze you were in.
--Redid the jumping puzzle at the top of the beginning dungeon. It should be SLIGHTLY OBVIOUS where to jump and that you won't need to find another key to progress out of the castle.
Other Changes:
-- Changed a couple of blocks in the "OMFG IMPOSSIBLE LAVA DEATH TRAP!!111ONEONE"...it should be -slightly- less painful..but still pretty damn hard.
--Major Cosmetic Change in the beginning areas. The place has some houses now. They don't do anything really, they are just there to flesh out the world a bit more.
--Put in more "rooms" in the first area of the Shine (Green Key dungeon). They don't do anything (yet?) but it's to give more of a feeling that The Shrine was a place of study and such.
--Made some minor cosmetic changes around the map to make it more 'alive' or somethin.
I've also updated the story in the first post. Check it out if you want.
How do you get past the new roof area of the first dungeon? I can't get past that jump in the griefed part of the skywalk.
EDIT: nevermind... you might want to make it a bit easier, though...
Another question (sorry for the double post):
Is there a reason that there's a stone blocking the doorway to the water race?
(in the green key dungeon)
Cause I see no other way into that area.
EDIT: also there was a stone blocking water from going down into the spiral symbol...in the gold room

No, it's an easy jump. I can make it consistantly (and if you've seen my streams, you know i fail at my own jumping puzzles..) besides i needed something that would prevent you from getting back into the castle without the required keys and that jump is a one way jump.

Very wierd..that must of been a freak accident when doing something in OMEN. I fixed it now.
Also next time, just edit your post. I do check these you know. =p
Once again I will bump this cause I get really annoyed when I flesh out the entire forum then come here to find... NOTHING!!!!!!!
No offense or anything, I'm not saying that you should hurry up with the updates, because I prefer quality over quantity.
I'm just saying that I get bored really easily.
LOL other than that my magical hacks are hypothesizing that the next part of the dungeon will be AWSAM!!!!!!

Look, I'm sorry, okay? just delete it and get over it!!!
Anyways, getting back on subject, have you made any notable updates, Chaz?
EDIT:
Also, IDK if it's outside your, umm, "range" of things you want to do with the project, but have you ever thought of making a custom skin just specifically for this level/series?
I think that it'll make much more enhancing gameplay for new players, because they can "discover" the new blocks.
If I sound too much like a critic, please forgive me (I'm always like that).
No i haven't made any notible updates. Dealing with Christmas Stuff and I'm slowly working on my own website. Torchlight and other games don't help either lol...
XD I accidentally made a mistake and destroyed a sand block. Luckily the water wasn't that low yet, so I was able to fix it
You should make the tree near the beginning have a more defined branch. It was only until after I destroyed it that I found out it had a branch
I defined tricky jumps loosely, letting me skip a door easily. You may want to look into that
Also, Sheep mobs screw up the whole limiting your inventory thing, so maybe you should make a rule saying that, when you kill a sheep, you must place the white cloth you gather where you slayed it, as a grave marker

I find that hard to do accidently... meh *shrug*

I'd understand you a bit better if YOU GAVE A BIT MORE SPECIFICS OF WHERE YOU DID THIS. *thwap* Swear to god, if it's the top of the castle (again!) i fear for the future of gamers problem solving and logical thinking skills.

You could also just use them to get past jumps as well or drop the blocks you don't need if you ACTUALY have inventory issues. It's STILL A COLOR BLOCK (CB) and that should of been pretty easy to put 2 and 2 together... *sigh*
If i ever finish this and get to the 2nd GT map, i'm gona make it mind bendingly impossible (for certain people..or rather the majority it seems) to get out of the starting dungeon. >:3

Hope you like it.
Also, water doors...

Perhaps you could use these to block lava instead of sand?
Enjoy!
As for that lava maze of doom..damn. That's crazy complex. Doing something like that underground will be pretty hard to do
