I like that idea too. Since the server I play (normal) on is now down for a couple of days, I'll finish this damn generated then flatgrass map so creepers explode. The top of the ground will be flat, but underground will be different.
I'll also try help out and possibly organise things for the future of SMURF, like a SMURF Multiplayer Survival. That'll obviously be a while away, but luckly, holidays are coming up for me.
The reason I had this delayed was because I was missing one gem, yet I couldn't find it. I did a quick search through OMEN and found that a green one was hidden (won't be spoiled for obvious reasons).
I'm not certain many people would expect it to be hidden there, despite looking suspicious. Because when I went there the first time I looked up and saw a patch of dirt, so I thought to dig up instead. With no luck I went to look for other gems and then after some time I just fooled myself into thinking that I already got whatever gem was there.
I'm just thinking that others probably got stuck on this one, too.
Sorry to see this thread inactive. I didn't post a score because I was concentrating on getting the gems, which is a lot more fun than getting a higher score. This particular level is harder to acquire a score than the previous one because the baddies aren't funneled into one area. In order to get a decent score (e.g. > 10,000), I would have had to spend more time playing than I have had in these past few busy weeks; whereas I could complete the side quest incrementally.
Maybe I'll send in whatever score I happened to have at the end of doing the side quest. I'd really like to move on to Zuriki's arena map - that should generate high scores quite quickly, if you can stay alive!
Yeah, big shame this kind of went under. I think the biggest cause of this was Notch's vacation. Updates really keep people interested, I know I got a little bored after I released my map. Making maps was a bit frustrating since creepers ruin some fun buildings, and I was uninterested in multiplayer's amalgam of randomness.
the only reason this went under is because the point of the second map had to do with gems.... iof it had been a simple killkillkill then it would have stayed afloat much better

this basically died
If it still is, sorry to bother you. I'll just wait until Notch accepts checks.
But if not... You have received my application already.
