I think the problem of enemies not granting points for "clever" kills (ie. luring them to their death, causing creepers to blow them up) could EASILY be fixed by awarding points for any enemy that dies with you as its primary target, or which had you as its primary target less than five seconds before (in case in an explosion or fall it loses you or picks something else).
If you attack something, it automatically targets you, and if something is trying to get at you, and falls it will die with you as its primary target.

lol, nice idea, although I could see someone going afk while standing on a single block over a pit of lava, in hopes of getting a high high score (skellies might mess em up tho).
Tricked some creepers in. No score increase.
