Hey there, was just wondering how i could make a server.

so far i have my server and the ram thing done, just need to know how to make it public,

Eg: killaserver.co.nz

or somthing like that instead of the ip.

im using hamachi and i realize that that is not the program to use and i have to port forward or somthing.
but surely there is a easy way? if not, can somone help me to make this server a ".co.nz" instead of numbers thanks, would like to start making my server

you need to pay for an IP host domain, which basically puts a mask over the IP, and when someone uses that IP it forwards it to the actual IP. (I can't understand what i just said...)

To have a IP different than the "normal" ones, you need to pay on hosting websites. So like that, you don't host it on your PC but online (24/7). My friend paid 25$ for 10 people with 2gb of ram for 2 months (he have one free month). I suggest you to host on your PC and not using hamachi or tunngle. Just port foward 25565 in your router and give your ip with ipchicken.com To port foward, you need to go here -> 192.168.x.x (x means 1 or 0) For exemple 192.168.1.0 or 0.1 or 0.0 or 1.1. Try them all, you will need a password and a username. You will need to figure it out, I have set mine 1 year ago and I still remember it (lucky me). Anyway, good luck

i see, well in that case, without paying for anything, how do i do that? like just so people dont have to connect to my hamachi when they connect, me and my friend from over the world played on my server for a bit, but he needed to join my hammachi :(ok im trying to do that now, im on my laptop at the moment and the pc is soo crappy its not funny. . . haha but will try that by the way what would the server address be if its port forwarded?

ok so ive done the port forwarding and set my laptop to it, now the ip is 122.58.66.129 someone join me =! :DD
