First of all, I think about this in a large portion of my time....
1.Currency
Lets face it what this game needs is some sort of currency... and indev multiplayer hehe, but this would work something like: First there is a coinery which is made out of simple materials, and the use of gold blocks ( [gold] ) would create nine or so gold coins... The gold coins SHOULD NOT be gained from killing mobs. I dont want this to turn into a game like that. This is just to branch off into a different proffessions. This could be used at npc villages with my next ideas
2.Maps
Somehow it will need to be implemented sooner or later, because of the need for players to group up against other players, this could be bought at a npc store and only displays the area that has been explored. This could be used with my next idea. Maps should be expensive
3.Waypoints
While i think the need for signs are needed, I think people should be able to place this on the maps and it appears on the normal land as a flag.
4.Races
Wouldnt it be neat to find different types of npc towns? They could have different architecture I.e. We could have indians, African-amareicans, Chinese
I would like to see trainers in the different races so there would be like one that would teach you how to craft, one to use furnaces, and one to teach
5.Brewing
Ok I want to see a tavern of the road that you could drink at for gold and meet all different types people, a social place rather... Anyways, this would take place on a brewery and it can be dispersed in glasses maybe? It would happen over time and would require different types of crops from farming...
6.Shops
They could sell seeds, simple tools, tnt at a high price, maps, etc. Well It would give npc towns more of a meaning and they could sell all sorts of things.
7.Transportation
Well basically we should have something like teleports, boats, helicopters (NOT PLANES!), and trains... Helicopters make more sense than planes in minecraft... Teleports arent needed and trains would be cool to see if there were really large empires
8.Different branches of mobs
Poisonous, climbing, and web spiders? Flying, Nuclear :twisted: , and cluster creepers? Spitting, running, devilishly strong zombies? Giant Worms? Sharks? Bandits?
9.Sponges
Griefing will be a serious problem with multiplayer and this is just one of the many things that would help that...
10.Deed markers
Well I do and I dont like this idea... I like the idea of nobody messing with your castle and I like the idea of guys mining under your castle.. well this would make it so other players (unless if you allow them to) not able to mess wit yo build in a 32x32x32 cube
