Day 7, i found some coal and some iron, enough iron to make a sword, but I couldn't get anything else. The vein of coal was 16 blocks, which gave 64 torches... Very helpful. I hope to find more iron in the future.

I've been inactive on the forums for atleast a year, I'll try being more active. Any of my previous threads are not going to be used by me anymore.
this is my Day 3 i'm building to island out a bit and have set up some Def walls, i used all of my first coal to make my trees grow faster :happy.gif: i'm trying to get seeds to start a farm and more coal but i just got some flint and steel so i can start some log fires.
Edit the def wall is cuz Creepers keep coming out of the sea at me.
After day 10 or so i was bored so i took my boat out for a spin to get a closer look at the lands off in the distance(never got off my boat). I was traveling at night and i see a light source from the bottom of the ocean, it turned out to be the most epic cave system i have ever found in minecraft to this day. Mapping out this behemoth has already taken an hour and there is so much left unexplored.
To find it beeline straight for the closest ocean when you spawn if you keep heading the same general direction you stumble across a few openings with lava lighting up the underwater caverns. i'll try to get some pics up soon. Be warned this is where all those monsters have been spawning.

Day 1 over. Currently waiting out the night. I've been fairly lucky, my tree dropped 5 saplings. None of which have grown though :sad.gif: Uh oh, I hear Zombies :/
