Forgive me Notch for I have sinned, I pirated this game 3 months ago, please forgive me. Your power was too great and I succumbed to you. You an indie game developer, made an amazing game that you poured your heart and soul into and I could not continue any longer. You deserve it and now, I HAVE FINALLY BOUGHT MINECRAFT (Well buying it tomorrow) I'm just so so happy, thank you!
Now, I just wanted to see what kind of results were on the poll, if you wish to elaborate on your answer please do so.

You think slipping your pisser into a chicks stinking pisshole is better than exploring an endless world and building great wonders and adventuring?

The interent: Where men are men, women are men and kids are FBI agents
i was poor. I had nowhere else to go! and minecraft's sweet siren song was too powerful to overcome. I knew I wanted, nay, NEEDED it! and the foul temptress known as the pirate bay welcomed me into her evil, yet seducing arms. I found the error of my ways and finally joined notch. under his protective watch I stayed.

So much MASTURJACKOFFULATION! I LOVE IT! No i don't, or do i?You'll never know.
I pirated Minecraft for a week. Wanted to buy it so much that I bought a $100 dollar gift card to pay the $13 and haven't looked back since. I even bought it for a friend and gained a lackey! :wink.gif:
OT: You monsters..! Everyone knows pigmen taste best!
Hey.. Smug guy with self riteous ideas.. yeah, you.
People can choose to tell their story or not. If you don't like it, don't post here. The OP was asking if people could vote in his pole then elaborate on their choice.
I started playing the game during the "free weekend" that occurred from the server problems. After the free weekend ended the game still worked if I didn't put in a username/password, and I found "packs" that would update the free version as patches came along.
I bought the game around the Halloween update though, so I could play online.
Deep fried Creeper? I'll take 3, with a spider-shake.
Anyways:

For Notch God loved the world so much,
he sold his one and only project,
so that whoever followed him would not miss out,
but have eternal Minecraft.
So those who have betrayed Notch will be missing out on eternal Minecraft-ing. They will also be banished until purchasing or donating (not really, but it adds drama).[/NotchGodReligeousStuff]
OT: I dealt with the fact that I didn't buy it for a few months, and I lived off Creative/survival. Then, shortly after Alpha released, I bought it. To fun to miss out. Pirating was never an option.
Heh. Dunno 'bout you guys but I never even though of pirating this game for a few weeks I first bought the game.
Like said, buying the game isn't just for having it but supporting Notch.
Oh yeah, wonder how much of you started playing and didn't have a clue on what to do Herpa derp you see that rhyme I just busted?
I admit I used a pirated version [prior to the Halloween update], but that was only to get my feet wet before payment was an option. Rather complicated story, it is...
But now I'm legit! :biggrin.gif:

Yet ANOTHER engineer in the world of Minecraft. w00t
"Minecraft. The first taste is free..."
Morally, indie game like MC demands financial support more than say, a Rockstar or EArts production.
Its only 10 freaking Euro, compared to 10 times that amount for mainstream games (buy before Dec 20th, after then 20 Euro).
Good Luck and Beware of the Chickens...
I haven't ever pirated a game. I did get about 1500 songs off of ThePirateBay but that's only because I couldn't buy all of the CDs that had the songs at one time. I am gradually buying the CDs I pirated though.
